couple of tips, coat your matches with wax it keeps them dry, someone asked where you keep the distilled water? Add a condom to your pack, lol and all i know, it takes next to no room to carry and holds a lot of water.

Not a bad little pack. Could have gone into what the flint-steel-key-string was used for. Basically, with a few of these containers, packed with different things, would be a great way to organize your pack. It would make a good item to take along for hiking. I can improvise a container from say a plastic bag lining a hole dug in the ground or even a birch bark cup!

Civilian wire saws and commercial type wire saws aren't good, military wire saws are made from one piece of wire as opposed to ones with rings in the end which can snap off and are much stronger!!!

for more space in your kit you should change the tea light candle for 1 or 2 birthday candles and tape the matches and stick it to the lid

No,B.C.B make a few different types of survival kits.The combat survival kit comes with the basic essentials I think you're thinking of the military survival kit which has alot more stuff and is vacum packed!!!

I would suggest taking off the handle, or at least filling down the handle a lot, because the knife is taking up a lot of space. You can always make a handle in the woods if need be, but if you where to just take the blade or file down the handle more, you could fit in more gear like medical supplies.
