Living in Marina Del Rey is much different than living "ON" the Marina!
I live in the class A apartments that are on the waterfront of the marina (yachts parked right in front of my place).. It kicks ass!
This guys place is lower rent, and in a lower quality area than waterfront properties in Marina Del Rey. Makes a Big difference "where" you live in the area!
There are $3M to $10M houses on the main canal behind me. Many celebrities live there, and where I live as well...

@DELREYGUY I don't live here anymore but I greatly preferred this area to the sterile area around the marina - this place has a lot of character. As for celebrities, there were several B-listers in my building and across the street. But so what? That's not exactly a perk for living somewhere...

It 's a great place! Very centrally located for LA, but feels more like a small beach town than part of the city! Its a bit pricey though - lol!
