Concerning the question of Mary Magdalene's presence at the Last Supper. In the Gospel of John, there is no mention of the "Twelve" as a select, elite group of discsiples - the Apostles, rather certain "disciples" are singled out, and Mary M is one of them. There is no account of the Eucharist but rather the washing of feet and parting sermons. Given that Mary later has the "star" role in John as first witness of the resurrection, I see no reason why she would not have been present.
Everytime I watch movies depicting the historical life and times of Jesus Christ I get hungry & thirsty. No matter how poor they portray the conditions all the discussion of water, wine, bread, fish ect
@AWHNNOH I went into the webpage and saw all the different pearls that go into other webpages. Can you explain this page to me. I see it can be used as reference and study back up. What's it's purpose? I noticed people can join...but join for what? Please elaborate what it's for. Thanks and God bless.
I would even now still do exactly what Peter did,I couldn't let my king wash my feet, unless He put me in the spot, then again I would do exactly what Peter did if He gave me that ultimatum.
i have to admit .. this is the most difficult teaching that Jesus gave us .. "wash each other's feet"
i can wash the feet of those i like .. but not those i don't like (my confession)
Romans 7:18-24 .. I know that my selfish desires won't let me do anything that is good. Even when i want to do right, i can not. Instead of doing what i know is right, i do wrong. If i don't do what i know is right, i am no longer the one doing these evil things. The sin that lives in meis what does them.
@hester23x If she was there among the disciples certainly it would have been mentioned in the scriptures but it wasn't. In other verses of the bible when a woman was present the word make note of it. Such as the woman who poured oil on Jesus' head and the scene where the women wets His feet with her tears and drys them with her hair (Luke 7:38).
The way that people will know that you are my diciples is by the love that you have for one another. John 15: 9 "As the Father hath loved me, so I have loved you." John 15:17 "This is my command love one another."

in some cultures, shining shoes would be the equivalent of washing feet.
