They are getting hundreds of brand new tanks developed by Mitsubishi as well as brand new Cargo planes from Kawasaki, Fighter jets from Mitsubishi in less than 5 years. They got the aegis anti-missile boats co-developed with US recently and most of their equipment is still very modern

north korea is a push over for any modern country.
China is doable, but will have severe casualties, due to the large population, population bias, and large landmass.

Guys one thing is clear. If America would have allowed Japan and Germany to build whatever they liked I am 100% sure japan would have been much stronger than it is. America is making a mistake not to allow Japan be Stronger. I mean now Japan is not an enemy to USA. China is the problem in the future. I personally love japan and the japan people. I believe Japan and USA are allied nations. However, I am sometimes disappointed because USA sometimes does what allied nations should not do. Especially, United States House of Representatives House Resolution 121 (you can see what this resolution is on wikipedia) should not be passed because this resolution is based on misinterpretation of facts. Also, USA has no right to say that because USA is not a party concerned.

To the questions about Japan And America. Yes, They are slightly allied nations. I believe the us has branches over there, helping with the self defense force and training.

China has been more of the talk of lately and increasing pressure is placed on Japan by USA to be more responsible and blunt towards her neighbors (re-militarize). USA is seen by Japanese to be corrupted by the Bush Admin, invading Iraq and also signing treaties with North Korea without consulting Japan, a major insult to a key partner in negotiations. The alliance is as strong as ever but many express doubt about America being able to protect them, considering their military blunders recently

自衛隊があるから戦争が起こるのではない、戦争をさせない為の抑止力を持った組織である。まぁ、有事の際は致し方がないですが。だが、戦争は最終手段である事を忘れてはならない。外交だけでは如何にも成らない事もある。

Indead the Mitsubishi ATD-X due in service in 2015 is 5th Gen stealth fighter designed to match or exceed the F22 Raptor and is 100% Japanese designed and built as the US has refused to sell F22 tech to anyone (even the UK!)
