i have a 2wd with total chaos front end, body isnt perfect anymore but the interior is, 220,000 22re still going strong " did replace carrier bearing, rebuilt motor at 200k, axle bearings, few other minor things but take into consideration i beat this truck hard at the dunes, she drives straight as an arrow! couple vids on my profile of light light light sand abuse compared to what it has been through!
Toyota undeniably makes the best compact to midsized pick-ups. I don't know how one can argue. The only compact/midsized pick-up that's better than the Tacoma is it's older brother, the Hilux. Toyota could work on the Tundra, however.
I have a 2002 Tacoma 4x4, automatic (non-TRD) - love it. 235 000kms and only put new tires on it, alignment, transmission drain and fill, timing belt (soon), drain and fill both diffs, run it with Mobil 1 super 2000 5W-30, WIX air and oil filters. Meguiars Hi-Tech yellow wax #26. It doesn't take much to take care of these trucks. Change your fluids and grease your joints on time and it'll last you a long long time!
Had this truck for almost tao years now and it's done evrything I could require in a truck nos i'm gonna do something spécial for it but giving it a whole new make over That it deserves
