I'm no mathematician, so correct me if I'm wrong. The views increased by 150. The likes increased by 100. That leaves 50 people in question. Either they 'disliked' this video, or didn't vote at all.

I also wasn't aware that having 100 friends between at least 6 people was that hard to fathom.

Please update me on anymore shocking news I've yet to hear.

By the way, I was one of the new 10 people upon msvegasport1's refresh who genuinely enjoyed this video.

well i guess this is a competition so like most people liking are probably friends since I noticed many other videos are suddenly getting a 'like spike' as well lol. The date for the contest end is approaching so I guess the video uploaders are harrasing their friends to like hahaha and I am also seeing a lot of new video uploads too. In that case , I think its fine and wow 341 likes as I am writing. This might just win the people's choice award.

To the man who believes that having "reverse timeline" in a video means that it is copying another video... I have an idea! let's not copy the idea of telling a story backwards, even though it is a very effective method, simply because someone else made a music video with a reverse timeline... The technique is similar. But there comes a time where an affective method is copied because it works.

Good if considered strictly from being a PSA perspective. However, realize that it is a 'filmmaking' contest. If I were to judge this I see it falls flat in many areas i.e. character development. Remember that your need your audience to "connect" to your character(s) if they are to care. On a high note, some good post-production work. Don't take my criticism personally, I have been in industry for a long time to spot such things at an instant. I see potential here thus the creative criticism.

@shinemydog It doesnt say anywhere in the contest rules that it has to be a conventional narrative film. I think the commercial/PSA style is just as valid as any of the longer, more narrative shorts people have submitted. I would even argue the PSA style is more effective at conveying a message to young drivers and is much more interesting to watch than some of the longer entries that simply show characters txting or drinking at the beginning when we kno theyre going to hit someone 2 mins later.

@MrQuentinChandler Well, technically, the contest is advertised as a short film contest, rather than a PSA/commercial. And if anything, most of the entries so far have been PSA-style videos than ones with a narrative story.

That being said, out of all the commercial-type videos, I like this one the most, as it is the least cliche.
