  • what r u running in tht

  • Electric is so boring. No noise

  • When this thing hits 88mph, you're gonna see some serious shit... LMAO

  • @autobiz hehe :)

  • Try adding a gyro for a bigger helicopter. It really helps stability

  • Dam Bro, I'd concider myself lucky if the truck just barley missed you, cuz im almost possitive a 78mph hit to the ankle or shinn would most deffinetly shatter all the bones a foot all up and down you're leg, lightning fast reflexes bro, nice :)

  • @jugglesandmrmathess yeah! i was lucky it didnt hit me directly, made me think twice in the other runs :)

  • @MikePeperni the bigger the speed the bigger the wrecks lolz

  • @jugglesandmrmathess thats for sure! we crashed my friend's DM1 while doing some test at 101mph, we wanted to wait to get really good results before posting vids, (still working on it but didnt ran it this last summer...) the chassis bent we got lucky it flew in the air like a leaf in the wind.. lol and it hit my friend's 1:1 car parked on the side of the road... we were a little over half throttle to give an idea of the potential. :)

  • @MikePeperni WHAT!!! dude thats crazy, the car must be like 1/18 scale and hooked up on a mamba monster system or Tekin RX8 ur somethin, lolz thats insaine lolz, good luck with filming

  • so this truck can handle a MMM 2200KV? With 6s?

  • @xxBLKChEvY07xx yes, very well. :)

  • @MikePeperni so the differentials can handle the power? with no issues? have you broken anything bro? or did you need to do any upgrades?

i saw this truck...and stock says it can only handle 4s....so i thought about the MMM with 6s very quick...and i really like the look...and was debating on getting it...but if you say..it will handle it with no issues...i will buy it for sure..but i need your final word lol...

  • @xxBLKChEvY07xx The only and single issue with the SC8e was the bearing on the rear diff heating and blowing, we needed to replace them once in a while on 6S in the sandpit, but the sand is soft and theres a constant load so it might been the problem... but other than that, extremely durable with the integrated cage under the body, the RC8 buggy is not too bad either and the truggy need some upgrade(except for factory team kit...)

Dont hesitate it will handle 6S no problem :)

  • @MikePeperni And watch out for the tires, they will rub in the fender well on 6S lol

you might try to find a way to eliminate that or get different tires... it depend how fast you gear it though... its a FUN truck, very precise in control.

  • @MikePeperni awesome! will do..thanx bro.. im sure gonna get it this coming week then...thanks for all the input..

  • man, i cant wait to get mine! im getting pretty much the same set up as you. Except im going to make a spoiler for down force. im going to drive the sc8e infront of my freinds car and were gonna see if we can get past 78 mhp

  • :53 look at that ground clearnce.. might as well be a car. boooo

  • @jaminadams ? Thats a SC8e, with the suspension adjusted as low as possible, thats what we had to do or it was taking off too early... running too high ride height make it prone to rollover, even for bashing.

Sorry if it doesnt please you...

  • Mike, do you still have this truck ?if so I have a few improvements you can make to it if you plan on doing anymore speed runs with it. 1. create an air dam in front of the body, usually a piece of scrap lexan works really nice also the air gets underneath the body and presto you have takeoff lol(as if you didn't allready know that lol) and the second thing and I know it might look stupid but a rear wing will def. help with keeping the truck steady and also give you a little bit more of traction

  • @chaddythepimp1973 My friend sold it unfortunatly, but yeah i agree with you :) We wanted to see how fast we could get it to with teh stock look first, but he sold it now.

We wanted to use a new body uncut, and let the front end lower, as low as possible to prevent air lift. And a rear wing :)

    Thx for the help :)

  • You should be driving the rc car infront of your real car and really push it to see what the top speed is. Really cool video

    5/5!

  • wat do u think is better using a single 4s or 6s pack or 2x2s=4s or 2x3s=6s packs

  • It all depend the capacity, if you have 2 3S 5000mah in serie, or a 6S 5000mah , its about the same thing. :) But if you run one 3S 5000mah, and then run two 3S 5000mah in parralel, you will have more runtime and slightly better performance under load.

  • what body is that?

  • Its the original SC8e body :)

  • drill some holes in the back of the body were it starts to slope down, it lets the air out insted of acting as a sail , a body reamer works better than a drill btw

  • Did you break any thing else than the tire when you/it crashed?

  • Nothing else, it is a pretty solid truck. :)

  • Thanks for fast reply:)

That could be my next basher, if it can crash with 70Mph, it should survive a day or to in my hands. MUHAHA

Btw really cool you take the time to reply, and i love your videos

  • No problem :) thx!

  • wat gearing were useing? how fast does it go with a 2200 kv motor

  • For the spur we have a custom setup, but the pinion is 25T mod1 , it was overgeared for its capabilitis to handle speed.... it was geared for about 100mph.

With the stock spur gear and a 25T pinion mod1 + 2200kv you will easily be in the 70, the problem is keeping the truck on the ground lol :)

  • COOOOOL !! What tires and wheels do you have on it. Is that what is giving the lowered look or is the suspension changed ??

    Thanks

  • Its some ofna 1/8 scale foam tires, we also lower the suspension. :)

  • NOT FOAM, its rubber lol my bad..

  • fuck yeah! Metallica..

  • What gear do you use on it? And btw, what gear do you use on the E-Revo that makes it soooooooo fast?

    thanks, great movies

  • I believe it was like 24 34...or something similar

  • dude that thing is awesome and man is fast I like the wheels and how low it sits.

  • very cool that is fast lol hahah good whipe out lol..... what type of camera do u use like the brand name and the name of the camera or camcorder thx Richard King..

  • Thx guys!

the camera is a JVC Everio 30go harddrive 40x optic zoom, 300x numeric zoom... GZ-MG255U

    :)

  • Nice! That SC8 looks awesome with the low ride height and wheels.
