  • that music for the train scene at beginning is eerie as hell. like its dark and im alone and its fuckin creepin me out lol

  • how do you even get to the debug room?

  • I remember the train scene in my game. But the dialog was different.

  • The cutscene where cloud asks sephiroth how they make materia was in the game, I remember seeing that scene when I played through it.

  • @mysteriousdewd no its different

  • Cloud's body is not ready yet!!!

  • the 1st one MOST DEF!

SHOULD had been a random "now loading" that would pop up randomly just to scare the hell out of us.

    would had been PERFECT!

  • Both of these scenes are in the game regularly. It's not particularly special.

  • Hmm that's really interesting

  • @zero71234 The black cloaks are successful experiments. The only failed one is Cloud. Hojo even says it himself.

  • @hotmonkeyfudge they are failed experiments because they were too weak in mind and strength to take JENOVA cells and became numb. They fullfilled other purposes but they never became a sephiroth clone ( a perfect one). In this sense, they are failures, yes. And another thing, Hojo just says he's a failed experiment because Cloud (being deceived by Seph.) asked a number to hojo, saying he was a failure. But, well, he did attend to the reunion, and followed Seph, so he's not so much of a failure.

  • Woah, why does the music sound all different? It's all....remixed, n' stuff. It sounds really cool, I only have the original ffvii for the ps1. is this what it sounds like on the pc or something?

  • @flashhasonewing no, not at all. All the versions of ff7 play the same songs. Like the friend below said, the debug room is plenty of features that are (or not) in the game. For example, enemies that never made to the game, places, people, and songs. These "remixed" probably were in a testing process to enter the game and they ended up different.

  • @zero71234 thank you, i've been waiting for a reply! that was very helpful, thanks a lot. :P not so confused anymore, i was all wanting to find the new sounding versions of the song, lol. it does sound a bit different, i noticed, i think it sounds cool. you see ffvii is my all time fav, the music (in my opinion) is just absolutely amazing, i got the soundtrack and everything. so when i heard (mostly the first part when cloud approaches the soldier) i was all, "Cool!" ^.^ lol

  • @flashhasonewing okay it's my pleasure. I am glad to meet people that are fans of ff7, and I also think this is the best game ever made. If you have any doubt about the game, feel free to ask. I also know stuff about other ff as well =)

  • @zero71234 you know i do have a doubt about ffvii...i've played it several times, i feel like i know everything about the game (at least the original except for special hidden stuff like in this video for example). one thing always confused me....cloud killed the real sephiroth by throwing him into the lifestream....then sephiroth is chasing him around. you see the real sephiroth's body when possessed cloud gives him the black materia...what is this other sephiroth, that killed so many people?

  • @flashhasonewing yes that confuses a lot of people. Okay, first of all, you're right. The real Sephiroth died that day when Cloud Throws him into the mako reactor (that's not lifestream :) ) . After Sephiroth died, Shinra started a program to try to clone him again. As you know, sephiroth was created by Doctor Gast, and used Lucelia (she's the love of Vincent's life, remember?). so, remember when you visit Nibelheim for the first time? and there was those people in black? They are failed clones.

  • @zero71234 yeah i always forget if it's the lifestream or mako, lol. yeah i forgot i was confused about the guys in cloaks, too! so it's really a sephiroth clone? i mean that's what i'd been thinking, but idk somehow it didn't seem right to me, right as in correct. i'm still a little confused, though, because hojo says cloud is the only failed experiment....or is that right? maybe he's not the only one...you know i think you're right about all this, actually. he is a clone!

  • @flashhasonewing Actually, he's not a clone. Cloud was infused with mako and JENOVA cells, but he didn't turn into a "clone" so for that Hojo considers him a failed experiment. When Zack and Cloud were arrested, some experients were made and you know the rest, Cloud mixed his memories with zack and his own, and also Sephiroth was deceiving him saying that he was a clone. let's do this, send me a message in my profile, i will explain it better to you, by here or email.

  • @zero71234 oops i'm sorry i wasn't making myself clear. i meant the 2nd sephiroth is a clone, not cloud, ^^; pretty much my whole confusion of this entire game roots to where the 2nd sephiroth and they guys in the cloaks came from. that's the only thing i don't know. it's never been clear...i know hojo talked about clones,i remember hojo talking about it a lot.but after the real sephiroth gets the black materia...is that the real sephy taking over, or r u still fighting the clone?

  • @zero71234 I was thinking a lot of time about this... the first incomplete scene is a exeperiment session with cloud, the lack of que quotes indicates a message about someone talking to cloud and not cloud talking, sorry about my bad english, but this is interesting and I try to talk... Im still finding the song on 0:39 at 0:54, the song that darthaeris told is not the song... >.<

  • @graster97 ok no problem I'm brazilian so I speak portuguese and a little spanish, what is your language?

and the song's name is REUNION. My fav song of this game.

  • @zero71234 *-* thanks, my languaje is spanish

  • Someone can tell me the name of the OST that sounds on the 0:39 at 0:54? my english is a shit >.< sorry, but i hope you understand

  • @graster97

It is called " A secret Sleeping in the deep Sea". It plays Underwater

  • what is the debug room? how do you get to it?

  • @MrJack83124

The Debug Room is a feature in FF7 only accesible through the use of Gameshark or the like. From what I've seen, It's a room that the Develepors used to test systems of the game. A lot of these cutscenes are Incomplete because of various ideas that were scrapped. It is also a graveyard of misc stuff. This is why a lot of it crashes your game ;).

  • Me: Hey Square Enix, How about a FF7 remake?

SE: WE'RE NOT READY YET... WOAH!!

Me: You were sure ready to make a FFX remake thought. >.<

  • @Imsmoke855 you know....the FFX remake is just a widescreen remake and the edges and graphics just look a bit better...they wouldn't do a real FFX remake with badass graphics and so on either....it would just take fkn 100 years to make a FF7 remake...and the old graphics and all this just makes it the game that it is...

  • @Skullmakerdemon

Crisis Core was good enough 4 me.

AC, Last Order and Dirge of Cerberus are shit though & should had NEVER been created.

  • @blitzvomitew16 DoC has to do with Crisis Core....and i just talked about FF7 not the movie or every other game, so why do you throw your opinion, which is not an opinion since it looks like that you have the highest opinion, at me?

  • @Skullmakerdemon

my point is they need to leave the series alone and move on.

theres no need for a remake.

  • @blitzvomitew16 I know. i dont want a remake. the old ff7 is more than enough.

  • @Skullmakerdemon

Last Order was just a shitty looking anime (idk why they even created that mess), AC..some stupid after story (i personally did not like the movie and the voice actors was shitty to me)....Dirge of Cerberus was terrible...enough said

    Crisis Core...10/10 game

I HOPE they don't touch FF7 anymore..they already did enough damage. let it go!

they are already trying to hype up their other games saying it may be the next FF7...pssh..stop livin in the past.

  • @Imsmoke855 i hear ya,i'm on the verge of giving up on that dream,i dont think i'll see a 7 remake ever and i'm about to give up hope for kh3,but a ffx remake meh might not be bad,any idea if there is trophey support?

  • @CodPlayer951 i herd ones coming out next year

  • I love the debug room

  • Comment removed

  • i am pretty sure these arent _"hidden" or "removed" cut scenes.it was probably 8 years ago ive finished this game and im damn sure ive seen these once...

  • That was the first one, the second worked though.

  • didn't work for me. It goes to the scene where the gang talks about cloud when he doesn't make it to the train... : \

  • "It's not ready yet"... Could that be referring to the game itself? Was it an incomplete cutscene that had been cut out for that reason?

  • I think I've seen the train scene in the normal game. Can't remember seeing the second one though.

  • no wonder they normally show ppl with no mouth...

  • Hahahaah sephiroth loves clouds hair that much?

    1:05

  • the good old ff7 :) man.. cant believe i forgot this game; the awesome story, the unique characters and those badass popeye arms.

  • @xMonoAlphax its not look it up

  • I think I may have actually seen that Materia one in game, or some variation of it. It seems really familiar and I never owned a Gameshark for PS1 :-x Though I haven't played FFVII in a long time. Cool find dude.

  • @RobChapman91 It's similar to the conversation Cloud, Sephiroth and Tifa have in the flashback in Mt Nibel, where they come across the Mako Fountain. They probably moved this scene from this part of the flashback to that part for some reason.

  • hey whats the code your using for this debug room? im using PEC for cheating on ps1 emulator. is there a better gameshark to use?

  • Another video shows that the second scene was before Avalanche woke him up, then the scene goes to Seventh Heaven (->pinball)

But the first scene creeps me out! I'm having nightmares. He's coming from far away... staring into the camera and freaking out, talking to YOU O__O I'm not kidding >_>

  • @xMonoAlphax Oddlt its not. some time if u put cheats useing gameshark, codebreaker, etc, that thing will pop up after u start new game. There are a bunch of otehr black mrooms like that one, were u spawn to other points in the game or u can fight lil triangle monsters and u get 500,000 each battle, and u can get all materia maxed.

  • interesting... these scenes are not in FF7 and i can assure you that coz im a hc fan of that series.

also this IS real and debug room.

  • At 1:05 Seph looks like a blow-up doll

  • "It's not ready yet", perhaps he's refering about the original body of Sephiroth on Northern Crater? "Not ready yet to come back". Hmmm...

Since Cloud have those headaches and talks nonsense sometimes. Well, idk. XD

  • wow that was a weird cutscene really weird

  • XD I couldn't help by laugh at Sephiroth's face : 0

Anyway, that first scene will always make me wonder, as for the second well, it was just interesting.

  • this or mgs1 as best game ever, such an epic and imaginative story and environment tht it makes real life seem ordinary when compared

  • The second one is in the EU version of FF7, i can remember it :)

  • It only appeared in the Crisis Core.

  • Is this the PC version?

  • If you try and view the first cuscene while your still "Ex-soldier" It will just view the cuscene when cloud jump ontop of the train after getting away from the shinra guard's near the beggening of the game.

  • The scene with cloud is so creepy and that music... pretty scary

  • Umm... Why show us the parts that crash the game? xD

  • @MegaDarkAngel2010 historical interest.

  • First scene was most likely just a placeholder that was never fully deleted for whatever reason. The second could be any number of thousands of things, but following the same logic as above, it was likely the placeholder/testing scene for the flashback of Seph and Cloud talking. Programmers/Translators were likely just trying to put something there while waiting for actual dialogue. But who knows.

  • That was pretty cool, there's some interesting things in the debug room lol.

  • O.K, the train cutscene is weird... God knows what he's talking 'bout... the Materia one isn't that weird, but it's freaky that the game crashes after the white screen... and your debug menu is in English? Like... mine had some random words when I talked with a character like "den" ... I don't remember, I just know they didn't make sense \ were not English, and it was on the PC version...

  • Some parts are English, others will come up with weird symbols and Japanese words like that...

  • Comment removed

  • That would seem to make sense. Thanks for the explanation.

  • @MJNSEIFER You know, that's a good point. But I don't see the harm in introducing Sephiroth at that point. It's not like it spoils anything, it just shows that he existed. And it's cryptic enough, like many seemingly random flashbacks in the game. I still haven't figured out the whole "Watch out! this isn't just a reactor!!" thing.

Besides, most people already saw Sephiroth, in the handbook that comes with the game, anyway. But, for whatever reason, they cut it.

  • @blackwingangel04 You make good points, except Sephiroth doesn't have a picture in the handbook.

The "This isn't just a reactor" is part of Cloud's old memory coming out. Remeber there were "monsters" being made in some reactors.

  • @MJNSEIFER Actually, he does. It's only a "photo" of his face, and not a full image of him, but it's there. And most of the information is "unknown".

That's why I couldn't wait to meet him. I was mistakingly thinking he would be an ally. But boy was I wrong lol.

Ah, I see. I just never made the connection of what that reactor was supposed to be, if it wasn't JUST a reactor.

  • @blackwingangel04 Strange. They must have re-done it then, because there is no picture (not even a face) in the manual I got...

  • @MJNSEIFER *shrug* I have an original copy from 1997, and It has in the "bio" section, a "photo" of his face, and his bio is practically all "unknowns" aside from his name and height. But that's the only mention of him in the handbook. Not even enough to determine what side he's on.

  • @MJNSEIFER Weird. I got the platinum release, so maybe it changed for that?

  • I remembah dis.

  • they're probably got cut off due to time or something.

most developers put the data on the disk and scramble it but then they forgot to delete it which results to these xD

  • Yeah, a lot of stuff in FF7 wasn't included because it had to be released on time. With a Gameshark you can look at even more cutscenes, but I'm on the PC so I can only find the ones from the debug room...

  • @PullusPardus

In the case of the materia scene- I suspect they dropped that one since they had the later scene in the materia cave that explains the same thing. Why include this one?

As to the train thing... probably happens after cloud bursts in and talks to the group...

Why they're partially in english... I think the debug room was also planned to double as a "deleted scenes room" feature, considering how much didn't make the final cut, and the game was rushed so that was all cut.
