  • I was with this group for a couple months in 2008 (I'm in a few pics toward the end). Looking back now, I really enjoyed it. :)

  • Im a search and rescue med tech now, and i have to say that this was the highlight of my life for the longest time.

  • This unit is in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii and the opening scene is onboard USS MISSOURI.

  • what state is this located

  • @VangardGames Hawaii

  • I'm from canada and i'm in sea cadet's but they all fight about army is better air is better , But it is whatever u like best, and were all on the same team, were all trying to protect our country's .. :)

  • there is nothing wrong with the navy or air force or army or marines at the end of the day we are all on the same team just doin diffrent jobs for diffrent reasons but the main on kill all taliban

  • can people stop fighting about both programs i LOOKED at both programs Jrotc because it is done in my school and sea cadets personally so far i like sea cadets a bit more because they offer better scholarships. That and 0:11 THATS A BIG TENT!

  • All of you idiots calm the F8ck down. If you like the Navy join this, If you like the Marines join the Young marines and If you like the Air force and Flying then join Civil Air Patrol

  • This is a great program im in it better than Jrotc i also do SEAL training and SEAL training is the hardest you'll go through. This is better than civil air patrol, jrotc etc.

Navy is the best GO NAVY!!!!

  • @IfinduIgetu wat Jrotc r u in? i'm in army

  • @evilhand3 Army also

  • @IfinduIgetu NICE!

  • MrSolracable the boy scouts offers nothing to the military you get E-3 in NSCC you get E-3 in the real navy the boy scouts you get what collage but its going to take 5 years to get i got a scolarship to TX A&M for makeing Cheif now im going as an officer into the USMC i couldnt get that in the boy scouts Civi air has nothing

  • I <3 US Navyyyyyyy!!! GO NAVY!!!!!!!!!!!! iim in this i do SEALs and its awesome i knew SEAL training and Navy stuff before i got into this

  • Boy Scouts < US Naval Sea Cadets < Civil Air Patrol

  • im joining soon :)

  • Y they look like sailors?

  • @USMCjunior117 cuz its the naval auxilary

  • CAP is the sea cadets older sibling... we were around before the AIR FORCE!

  • @evilhand3 CAP was founded in 1943 during wwII.....but the lead guitarist from rush was in sea cadets so sea cadets own CAP

  • @dylanscool1478 actually we were founded December 1st 1941...6 days before pearl harbor..... i honestly don't really care what famous person was a sea cadet ... Its ok to admit CAP is the boss xD

  • @evilhand3 no offense, but sea cadet is better. ahaha. civil air patrol - air force. but sea cadets are training to be seals

  • @BrendonFTW LOL! sea cadets are NOT training to be seals...if they were training you to be seals you'd go into the seals...they're not training YOU to BE seals...

  • @evilhand3 haha CAP a boss yeah right good luck with that the Sea Cadets would wipe the floor with you guys. Why cause Navy will always be better

  • @IfinduIgetu lol you go on and try that

  • @evilhand3 oh I don't need too you air force pussy

  • @IfinduIgetu In what way am i a feline of the air force?

  • what were they doing at 1:30

  • US Naval Sea Cadet Corps is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!

  • HAHA sniper push ups!

  • i gotta get out of indoc

  • hey im going into the navy sea cadets [leagers]

  • hey i'm in Naval Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps and like Navy ROTC is a college elective Navy JROTC is a high school elective and we do the same things as them. Sea Cadets seem interesting if i join now would i be a seaman recruit in Sea Cadets cus i'm a c/ Chief in NJROTC.

  • yes. if you join Sea Cadets you would start at the beginning. your current position in NJROTC is an excellent background and gives you a leg up over other kids with no other military bearing background, but will not let you enter at an advanced level.

  • im joining the one at andres AFB

  • i was out of fort dodge it was intence shit

  • in the UK sea cadets and i also do UK army cadets (because my unit dosn't support marines :() anyway i was just wondering how does the cadet forces work in the US and canada?

  • Here in Canada we have 3 PRIMARY cadet forces: Army, Air and Sea (I'm in Air). I don't know what you guys do but here we pretty do the same things like :Drill, Parades (in the squadron (or in your case Platoon)) ummm TAG days which are like...type in canadian cadets on google and you'll find more information lol.

    Cdt.Sgt SNCO

  • your a CIVIAL AIR PATROL CADET? if u ae my brother is too and im a NAVAL SEA CADET

  • garrett10100, no here in Canada we call it Royal Canadian Air Cadets. Extremley similar to Civil Air Patrol Cadets. They seem like nice guys, made lots of friends with them.

    Cdt. Sergeant. SNCO

  • @garrett10100 your house must be fun

  • I'm in seacadets and im loving every minute of it. I just got back from RT last week, it was pretty kool

  • hey

i am a sea cadetfrom scotland, in a lot of your comments people keep talking about 'caps'.

    What are they!

  • CAPS: Civil Air Patrol Service, there like sea cadets but with way less trainings, and don't do much

  • fuck you talking about, cap does search and rescue missions, saving lives unlike naval sea cadets

  • We have search and rescue too, DF, we save lives too, we do everything you guys do and more...don't believe me Look up on youtube, "SAR News Report, sea cadets"

  • thats one of very few units,in cap our mission for every wing/unit is search and rescue.every unit has emergency services sar and/or a flying detachment.

  • Thats a training DF, that was cadets from all over the country, and it is held every year, usually 2 to 3 are held. I just check your guys website, no where does it say all of you guys are certified SAR, maybe some, but thats same with us, some units are, others aren't might unit is were all trained in first aid and CPR, plus we spend at least 30 hours a month at are drills, u guys are there for 2 1/2 and also all see cadets can enlist at a advance pay grade, only a few of your guys can

  • if you serve cap then you start with advanced pay grade in usaf

  • Well look buddy look up adventure of a lifetime, that explains a lot but not all it was made in 96, but from being in sea cadets and having a few buddies in CAP, I learned everything they learned and more. Sea cadets, to me, offers way more trainings and benefits, I have gotten my scuba, boat, firearm, first aid, CPR license, some of my friends in it got there flying license, SAR license, lifeguard, and some higher level medical licenses.

  • @sushidude123 actually not true... any squadron can GET one... but they must have a certified senior member..were getting ours :D

  • @sushidude123 dude i was in cap and it sucked dick for me! because all we did at our meetings was sit there and listen to all the fucking old officers talk about bull shit!

  • @DarkFenix34512 well what do you do...besides TRY to act better the CAP?

  • @evilhand3 I got trained by SWCC, SEALS, MARINE RECON, and your kind of a cheap coward for attacking everyone's comments. So YES in Sea cadets You can do training very similar to seals, you can be trained by Seals. we do the realistic training. So next time you start a fight about how better you are, be ready to actually fight, not complain on the internet. I guess the C stands for coward

  • @DarkFenix34512 Well actually the person said they were training to BE seals. There is a difference between WITH and BE. For instance, we train with Para-rescue in one of our camps, but we're not training to BE para-rescuemen. my comment about the seals had nothing to do with CAP ( by the way stands for Civil air patrol just putting that out there) being better. Also, this is not a fight, it's a debate, and i'm not complaining i'm saying.

  • @evilhand3 theres no acting this is way better than CAP will ever want to be. Sea cadets offers SEALs.

It will always be better GO NAVY!!!!!

  • haha! thats cool.! I'm a canadian navy cadet!:)

  • GO NAVY

  • former sea cadet here loved my time in the sea cadets i remember the boot camp in the summer lights out 2100 lights up 0400! Go Navy!!!

  • Go Sea Cadets!!!!

    ps. yes i'm in em!!!

  • so what does c.a.p. do besides eat chips and wach t.v. at your "drills".

  • @bob1693 Well first of all there is no chip eating. When our advanced flight is awaiting the junior flight to finish practicing drill or take one of their classes, we usually find some pt to do or practice our ES training. I'm talking laps around the parking lot singing jodies, box push ups, sniper push ups, relay races, 8 count body builders, etc we even did intense training.

  • MY division we run the ship. for instance im a helmsman

  • sooooo let me guess - sea cadets are like the Civil Air Patrol?????? its like a Navy Auxiliary branch - ( voluntary ) ??

  • i hate my division

  • me too

  • I was a former Sea Cadet from Fitzgerald Division " Desert Saliors" PO3 Sanchez. Sea Cadets provide so much skills and it shows. Many former Cadets from my unit are very Succesfull. Including myself. We got hands on training on Ships USS BonhommeRichard LHD 6 and so much more! Im in Army now and advanced rank

  • The Sea Cadets could have been a wonderful program. It is such a pity that due to personal conflict and poor leadership on the part of the officers that I must resign my postion as a Petty Officer in the USNSCC and seperate from said organization. I will always look back on my days a Sea Cadet fondly, but never again will I force myself to go through what I have tolerated for these last few years.

  • I know what you are saying, many "officers now a days don't even have any military expierence.

  • wut happend ?????

  • In addition to the daily headache of Sea Cadet responsibility... I was nearly killed while on a training excercise. It was merely by God's grace that I am still alive. My accident was caused by the poor decisions of the officers I was bound by regulation to trust and obey, and after the incident I wanted no more of them. That's all I will say.

  • All I have to say is: BS! Regulation or not if it puts a person at risk of life disobey any order and go through the Chain of Command to notify the higher-ups of the disregard of human life.

  • @CaptainN64 You weren't required. You should have told the officer (respectfully) that you felt it endangered you and others and told him why. Regs don't require you to make yourself another person to have to care for.

  • oh yeah forgot something.... Hooyah!!!!!

  • I was a Sea Cadets. I made it up to E-3. Those were some fun times. All the experiences like boot camp and trainings were awesome.

  • its okay i guess. doesnt really convince me of anything.

  • sure am glad Im in civil air patrol and not the sea cadets. Im sorry but you guys do absolutely nothing compared to what we do.

  • ummm... im in cap too and all i now is...

    C.A.P. + AIR FORCE = SAFETY... lol

    different organizations do different things

  • TOTALLY; I find that same concept to be true not only for different organizations, but also for different units in the same organization. My unit is sooo lax when it comes to the things that high command deems to be too "unsafe" lol. I guess it all comes down to the overall maturity and education of the individuals in each unit. That's why certain officers let certain units and cadets do certain things, at least in my NSSC unit.

  • whoops, typo...

    *NSCC

  • first of all c.a.p. is for faggs and nscc does wayyy more stuff than the c.a.p. all u girls do is fly in planes and stupid stuff like that..u could never be a true sea cadet.

  • Funny. Civil Air Patrol is an actual auxiliary for the U.S. Air Force, whereas the sea cadets have no actual affiliation with the U.S. Navy. And to correct you, C.A.P has almost twice the special activities as NSCC, besides, who on earth wants to be a "semen"

  • hey CAP head you whats to be a cap wow i fly a plane i'm so cool. we can do so much more than you cap heads

  • Oh, so flying around in a little cezna all day is doing something. Try working on navy ships, coast guard boats, and working with seals, EOD, Sea Bees, and other Special warfare guys, oh wait you can't .Why? because your nothing but CAPPERS A.K.A wannabe sea cadets. Have a good life "airman"

  • with the exception of summer trainings, alot of what happens in sea cadets is pretty gay, im sorry to tell u

  • it is. my mom made me join and i just got done with boot camp. basically every drill weekend we just sit around and do nothing

  • if you join sea cadets over cap your a dumbass because cap has earned its name through emergency services and we get recognition from the military because if your earn your mitchell award (2nd Lt.) then you can join the military as an E2 after your basic boot camp week and also my old staff members come back from the coast guard, airforce, national guard, and navy to kick our asses in pt now and then so i dont want to hear it mother fucker

  • hooah

  • Actually in teh Sea Cadets if u make E-3 then after bootcamp u become an E-3. So Sea Cadets get higher rank

  • oh no shit i never heard that before? sounds interesting but still if you put a sea cadet next to a cap cadet then anyone would pick cap to join after just looking at the uniforms and when cap worked with the sea cadets at this airshow the sea cadets didnt do shit except carry our luggage and the ones who did help at the airshow were put under our command hahhahahah

  • I do admit some of our uniforms are really stupid, but my unit wears BDU's. The only time I have to wear Utilities is when we go on our annul 2 week fleet week cruise. But you have to admit the dress whites are sexy lol. But they r a pain in the ass cause they are so easy to clean!

  • i am a League Cadet but as of 6 Sept. I will b a Sea Cadet

  • I'm going to NLCC Orientation for Staffing. With LCDR Gallagher.

  • Fantastic slide show, well done. Cadets looked like they had a great time.
