Imitation is NOT always the most sincere form of flattery. Jesus already did this for us so that we could come to him. While it may seem deeply religious and respectful, "crucifying" yourself cheapens the cross of Christ. It says that the cross alone is not good enough for forgiveness of sins. Completely unbiblical.
