Actually, when I was ten or so I naturally hit those high notes.

I'm sure I wasn't cheno, but I must have been pretty damn close.

My family and my teachers used to freak out when I did it. Mostly because I was a boy.

But I wasn't studying anything remotly close to music, and I shied myself away forever once the downstairs neighbours banged on my door telling me I couldn't make that noise.

Not that they're harder or easier than lower notes, they're kinda just more stereotypical and what Cheno's more well known for. You wanna get ahead in that business you gotta set yourself apart and the Cheno note certainly does set Kristin apart.

It was during storytime when she was talking about her days as a wedding singer. She messed up and said FUCK and I think that threw her off because it's PBS. After she finished the last part of the story she was on it seemed like she didn't remember what she wanted to do next so she was stammering a bit then randomly tried the Cheno-note. So nothing really prompted it, except that's what Kristin sometimes does when she's stuttering or messes up.
