French are really nice people, at least in the South where I have been. There is almost always someone to come and help you if you need to. The waiters in restaurants are very kind. And if they speak only a little bit English they do it.
The only 2 things that anoys me, is that somethimes they ask if you speak French, you say "no". Thay just start talking French.
And that every normal French is being transformed to an A'hole in the supermarket.

@radiantnakashima look poverty creates all sorts of problems like crime it's not the only reason, I would agree... and there is a pretty high poverty percentage in the US... because of the way the US is let run... and really shocking how you don't even know the history of the country you just wrote you "loved"... Sad... Here is a summary, the citizens of the US were fed up of being extorted by england and declared war... France funded the war at first, sent troops and trained american troops...
