Gosh, that place killed me by all the exercise so much-ke, I let Goemon rest for good by spending money on some beef rice and sleep two times-ke. (-l_l-)
hey can anyone help me out with a Goemon question? Was there ever a Goemon game that was more than 2 player coop? And can anyone name me all the Goemons that were coop?
There's a way to "cheat" in GGA and get up to 4 people playing at the same time. But I've heard it's far from perfect, and you can't really play through an entire stage continuously with all of them.
As for games that were co-op, I'll try listing some...
GG1/Legend of the Mystical Ninja (SNES)
GG2 (SNES)
GG3 (SNES)
GG4 (SNES)
Goemon's Great Adventure (N64)
I'm probably missing a bunch (especially from NES and PS, since I'm not too familiar with those ones)...
It's real. Goemon 4 is one of the many games that was never released outside of Japan. I've got all the major cutscenes for this game translated, as well as another Japanese exclusive, Ganbare Goemon 3.
yeah ive got goemon 1 on the virtual console for wii. and i have 2 and three on my ds on r4. on goemon two im stuck on the third impact fight. somehow i got that far when i can't read japanese and on goemon 3 im stuck in the village you begin in because i can't read japanese so i dont know where to go. wait, is goemon 4 the one where each character is on a different planet? cos' ive got that one too.
wow! thank you so much! your videos will be very useful to me since no translation patch has been released yet. I love Goemon and Konami ;) than you again!
Next time I need to vacuum something, I should call Impact...
It might be too late for this sort of comment to matter now, but I think this program does a smoother job with the videos. Since my rom for this game has been glitchy (even after redownloading it), I've played through most of Goemon's moon several times, and the familiarity makes this more fun. I have so much love for this game- thanks again for all the work, I think it's been worth it!
Thank you! Yes, this new program seems better in that the videos don't have those weird framerate issues that all the GG3 ones do. Heh heh, Impact vacuum...
wow very cool that you can read Japanese we need people like you to help make translation scripts like this one. It will help people make a translation patch in the future! Thank you very much and I hope you keep up the good work!
That was too long and too complex to include in this video. But I will be releasing that scene at some point, with all the possible outcomes. I can tell you that it's very...interesting.
You are, without any doubt, the GREATEST! This is so exciting, a new translated game- and the fact that I've played most of this one makes it even stranger for me, finally getting to know what's going on!
I don't see any problems with the switch of programs- if anything, I think it looks better, definitly not disjointed.
Thank you so much for doing these! Just got the game today and I'm figuring it out!

does any know if ganbare goemon 4 has 4 player co-op wikipedia claims that gabare goemon 4 has a 4-player co-op
heerogunkenobi 9 months ago
@heerogunkenobi I don't believe so...The only 4-player mode I know of in this game is with the mini-games, which are competitive.

Yes, Goemon 4 is the one where each character starts off on a different planet. And if you're stuck you should look for a guide. gamefaqs has some.

What about that scene with Omitsu? I have no idea what conversation her and Goemon are exchanging during the second village stage

Hmm...all right, thanks for your feedback. It's greatly appreciated, as always.
This must be even more exciting for you than the last one, then. Hope it's to your liking!
