Steam Train at Wilderness

Hey I remember this day. The digger got stuck in the sand when the tide came in. I miss Wilderness!

we also use 2 go to knysna and go on the train, it was the best. i hope they repair the line

I suspect that there are very many who like you hope that this line will be repaired ... with all the other priorities for Spoornet investments I guess the chances are not too great

I miss the choo choo. used to go down to the wilderness in December every year. happy in the states but still miss those great memories

Thanks for comment. The choo choo isn't the same at present as the line above Vic Bay was washed away and the train now runs between George and Mossel Bay ... not quite the same I imagine
