The keypad now does not come with the phone, even online. It costs $39.99 as a seperate piece of hardware.

Seriously.. 23 Comments of arguing. The reason it was $1,000 was because of parents credit issues. But can't we just say, That Jimmy (warlord) likes the iPhone, and I am content with my Verizon for now.? They both have great qualities, but I just want a phone. I don't need web, or email, or IM, Just TXT and talk, and I am fine. Anything else, can be used on my iPod touch. lol. BTW I am reviewing an iPhone 3Gs soon. (Not mine) Peace.

yeah man, some people have already said this, but you can NOT get the keypad for free. I just got one today, and i ordered offline, BUT i called them and asked AND went to the local store and asked and i got the same answer: it is now considered an accessory, it now costs 29.99....which sux, but that's all i had 2 pay 4 since i used my new every 2 discount. anyway, maybe you should update your vid to let people know

maybe, or he wants a change...And it is arguably the best, I personally do not think it is the best, because they keep making new ones so apple can make more money, they could have made the first one with 3g, but didnt so they could make a second one that people would buy. They could have put video recording and MMS on it, but they didnt so they could make a third version so more people would buy. I like the iphone, but apple is so goddamn greedy.

Apple isn't in it for the money alone like Microsoft is. They are a good company that is extremely innovative and cares about it's consumer base.

If they are so greedy, then why would they release their new operating system for upgrade from Leopard to Snow Leopard for only $29?

some phone carriers require a large desosit if you have not already established a line of credit. Cody said "maybe when im 18 and have my own credit" which implies he has no credit history, so MANY places he goes to, he will have to pay a deposit in order to start a credit history. That's just how it works. . .
