Reading it again proves the impact of Torah on the thinking of all who strive for genuine Liberty. The first paragraph cites the Exodus of B'nai Yisrael.
Wikipedia's entry says only that the Declaration of Arbroath was partial inspiration for the Declaration of Independence, not the Constitution.

A thousand years before the Greeks put anything in writing, the Torah described a complete socio-economic system. Three "branches" -- checks and balances, etc. Objective scholarship has long noted this fact, but it's excluded by cultural relativists who redact Jews from history.

It's good that you point to the Declaration of Arbroath, a document I haven't read since undergrad PoliSci.
Reading it again proves the impact of Torah on the thinking of all who strive for genuine Liberty. The first paragraph cites the Exodus of B'nai Yisrael.
Wikipedia's entry says only that the Declaration of Arbroath was partial inspiration for the Declaration of Independence, not the Constitution.
So much for your "straight" facts. But still interesting and intelligent comments.
