  • INTONATION, people! The choir has moments of not being in tune in some of the parts and yet this music is primarily homophonic and not so contrapuntal as Bach.

The trombonists need to watch their intonation as well. The standard for a university level group should definitely be much higher. Practice!

  • very goooooooooood! i love schütz <3

Pretty good German, too! I'm always astounded, why people bother learning German (or singing in German....)

But if you wanna sing schuetz, Bach, Händel, Pachelbel etc, I guess it's necessary xD

  • I'm excited to have Dr. Stegall come direct us in Denver at CASC. Great work!

  • jauchzet is written with only one t. :D but well, nice song, we perform it in school choir now, but we dont have trumpets, but a "small choir" that sings like an echo. i love this song.

  • Absolument superbe ! J'adore Schütz.

    Merci

  • Dr. Stegall,

Not that I'm surprised, but Singers ensemble still sounds absolutely magnificent!!!! I still treasure all of the music we all were able to make while I was at school there and miss it even moreso.
