  • this movie made me cry

  • This movie is a masterpiece!

  • This movie was just strange

  • Its easy to say we would all deny the devil our children if we were in that position but I really would.. if this were to happen in real life I wouldnt give the devil my child or any other child cuz if the devil does indeed exist then that means God also exists and thats all Id have to think about in that situation. If i were to die Id be in a better place anyway since human beings would react exactly as they did in the movie as they would in real life. im sorry to say that about us but its true

  • I love this movie,i wish they play it!!!!

  • If I hadn't seen the movie for an entire week straight and at least once every 2 weeks I'd of been so made watching this trailer its such a SPOILER!! But there are little things that I'm still catching!! LOVE IT more than I love my husband! He use to like this movie but I would hate a movie if I had to watch it over and over and over again! Hahahahaha if u didn't get that re-watch the movie ppl!

  • This isn't a trailer, it's a spoiler!

  • they should have banished his demonic ass

  • this movie scared the shit out of me i didnt sleep for months after watching this and im afraid of canes with a wolf head. Thanks alot Stephen King for the nightmares I have endured but still its a great horror film.

  • this is a very good movie fam and its long no joke B-BOY-414-553-3181 hit my line ill tail u all about it.

  • this is my favorite because it is scary all the way through and it keeps me on my toes I never get tired of watching it.

  • What is this rated? ( as in M , PG)

  • this movie can enter in top 10 movies of all times....damn great story, i watch him 4 times for now, lol.....Born in sin, come on in. Born in lust, turn to dust. :)

  • And I thought the book sucked..

  • And I thought the book sucked

  • does anyone know where i could find this movie on blu-ray?

  • i watched this when I was a kid and thought it was great. So today I thought I'd download it to relive the experience, I decided to check out the trailer on youtube and then I was like: Eeeeemmm...no, looks like it kinda sucks donkeyballs...

  • «Donnez- moi ce que je veux, et je partirai.»

  • was i the only one who thought ralphie in the end was hot?

  • at first i thought the whole thing was a test from god.

  • i didn't want ralphie to be taken. no offense but i would have chosen the other choice. how could you live with yourself when you know that you let someone take a child away? now the demon lives on. better he dies then no one would have to deal with that shit anymore.

  • I remember watching this back in year 2000 when it was broadcast on BBC in England. Me and my parents had just moved house when I was 10 and it was a really strange time that i cant remember much of. Anyway we watched this day after day to completion, it was so good and atmospheric especially as that time in my life was weird. Anyway I just got the dvd nd watching it again, its really well acted and shot, and the town feels real. the game Alan Wake borrowed heavily from this TV movie.

  • LOL @ Colm Feore hissing like a cat.

OH NO! Crazy cat devil man!

  • I absolutley love this movie miniseries or whatever u want to call it.....Good job Stephen King

  • One of my favorite Stephen King movies! Heheheheheheh!

  • I watched this one night when I had the flu, eating bowl after bowl of minestrone soup to try and ease my suffering!

  • doesnt he sing the teapot song?!..

cause theres this movie i saw when i was 6..when i guy kills someone he sings the teapot song..

  • this is my favorite stephen king movie

  • Very well done, Stephen King remains the best

  • chuck norris would have sorted him out big time,,,,,u cant fuck with chuck

  • Brilliant film...but if he came to our town we'd just kick the shit out of him and ram his walking stick up his hoop!

  • I remember seeing this when i was 4 its freaky that i remember it so well

  • Ever wonder why this movie wasn't as big as it could've been, besides the fact that its about twice as long as the average American's attention span? Cause the friggin trailer spoils the entire story.

Its supposed to take you most of the movie to find out what Linoge wants, and by then its hard to think of any price too high to be rid of him, but the trailer gives it away in under 90 seconds!

I rate this film above Green Mile. Easily my favorite King movie, but a moron edited the trailer.

  • this movie is awesome. It portrays the cowardness of humanity superbly.

  • His red eyes gave me nightmares when i was 5

  • Love this movie

  • amazing how they can get batman to talk. thought he wuz working on a movie or something.

  • Two words BLACK MAIL, Don't give it a foothold in your town if it comes around. Send it packing, it always uses fear of one self , what others might think about you if they knew your dark secrets. Remember the last supper that he did it for you. Forgiveness is the key to send the Devil Packing................................... but this just a move............RIGHT......................Excellent work Stephen King

  • 4 hours for that story? it could be told in 1:20 hr.... wtf... is there something im missing?

  • The movie has suspense, indeed.

  • born in lust turn to dust born in sin come on in best line ever

  • he took their children WTF!! why

  • @jayorteg713

    Needs an heir

  • enjoy complete edition with this specific movie right here from avatz ... net change ... to .

  • creepy movie!

  • I remember this scaring the bajezus out of me when it came out... I think I was about seven

  • the first time my mother watched this movie on tape she thought it was only 2 hours long but the movie in her words "kept going and going"

  • hah was looking this for so long. saw it long time ago and had no idea how it was called. im so happy.

  • My favorite King film adaptation: Misery (Dead Zone is a close second)

My favorite King tv mini-series: IT

Storm of the Century had some genuinely frightening scenes especially the scene in the jail cell when you see the teeth for the first time.

  • This movie shows the weakness of human spirit in the time of crisis :(

  • Trailer gave too much away.

  • Did this start out as a book?

  • @zhs2009 yes

  • This movie is by far the longest I've seen and one of the most shivering and terryifing yet. Noone sleeps safe at night while Linoge walks around in dark with red eyes :O

  • A Masterpiece... that's it!!!!!!!

  • This movie was so creepy but it was so good. King should do a part II with Ralphie coming back like the plague. Mom and dad are also scared of their son and they all know who he is Ralphie. Well, good old Ralphie see's the error of his ways and go to them and fall to his knee's and beg their forgiveness. Right as their about to for give him he says....Siiiiike bitchez and send little tall island into the sea...But Ralphies father swims all the way back to San francisco and wait on part III.

  • @serialthriller100

That's pretty good. You should do that!

  • there.. now you know the whole story.. its nice how they spoil these "unpredictible" movies.. you just won 4h 8mins of your life! next please! :PPPPPPPPPPP

  • Is he really the bad guy?

It is only ye sinners that haveth something to fear.

  • No one has considered since he is neither a demon nor a God. That he is just simply the Vengeance of King's Ambition woven into this Villain directed towards the inequity's of a small town that is far from pure. And ultimately he is looking for the most innocent of the town a small child. To corrupt with his wisdom and continue his dark legacy. Its a weird way to see evil. It may not be right but it was a different kind of villain that's for sure.

  • Linoge/Legion said he wasn't immortal or a god, so they all should have swarmed him at the meeting and started screaming and going crazy.

We know he needs silence/time to concentrate and control people, so don't give him that.

If you give into people like that it sets a bad precedent. Someone else could try the same thing.

Also since magic/supernatural shit exists in that world, there had to be at least one person in that little dipshit town who knew a way to possibly counteract it.

  • @region1111 I don't know why they never could resist that son of a !"¤"# but you actually have a point !

  • @region1111 But... If even someone would have some courage and skills to encounter, Linoge was still kinda ahead... They would've been killed anyway I think... No matter if they would've found some supernatural capabilities from their own... How can you possibly fight against something supernatural (which Linoge clearly was) when he already knew what you're all about..? Even if someone would have some supernatural skills in that town, Linoge knew it already and was prepared for it... ;)

  • @micarone they all shoulda rushed him and yelled "LALALA WE'RE NOT LISTENING" when he tried to hypnotize them.

  • @micarone because what? because Linoge = Legion, the ona, that Jesus Meet once and its said that there are nothing more concentrated evil than "it" ...

"we are legion, because we are many"

  • @region1111 they couldn't he would of killed the children.

  • @MsSolance meh someone should have figured out how to use magic to save teh children

  • @region1111 It wasn't like that. It wasn't magic. He was a demon. Demons manipulate the mind and guide you in the wrong direction. The only defense to evil is Christ, and their faith wasn't strong enough, that's why they couldn't be saved. Had nothing to do with magic. Don't think I'm a bible freak, but I know how it works.

  • @sweettyme16 riiiiiiiight

  • @region1111 The dad explained that to them at the end during the confrontation but know one wanted to listen. They were too scared. Everything that happened to them in that movie, they let happen to themselves.

  • I seen this in class. Boy, my bestfriend that was sittinq next to me waz scared ! We was laughinq at her. But we find this scary. But we love this movie,

  • i LOVE THIS MOVIEE ITS MY FAVORITE

  • masterpiece awesome spectacular divine

  • A super movie.

  • The joke of the day; Anderi Lianogue calls the Truman Show; ´I need more hail please´.

  • Is it me or does stephen king like kids named ralphie getting kidnapped by a evil demon?

  • @McPfoot its you

  • Yeah, Stephen King has an obsession with children named Ralphie being abducted by other-worldly things...

He draws off his own experiences, maybe he knew someone who was abducted? (Kidnapped I mean.)

  • one of the most underrated movies of all time...i usually hate made for tv movies...but this movie is like a masterpiece....powerful tale and a good ending...unlike most movies that are so pc about letting reality kick in...this movie proves thats sometimes there's no happy ending

  • @poet215 I totally agree... It may has been just a mini series on TV, but IMO everyone who appreciates a GOOD thriller/horror should really watch this one. It has not too much blood and/or gutters, but it's frightening on it's own style. In the style which makes you look under your bed, closet and house and makes you wanna secure yourself that you're alone in your room... ;D

  • Should've just told him to come back in 9 months

  • i watched this when i was a kid and it kinda amazed me and frighten me at the same time and its like still in my memory to this day

  • @ang2381

I know! It was scary, but that kind of awesome scary that makes you want to watch it again and again.

  • @ang2381 Same for me! Except I couldn't remember the name, only just found the movie about 10 minutes ago. :)

  • @ang2381 omg SAME HERE i watched it when i was 8 and i still remember a copuple of scenes!

  • @ang2381 It's the mark of a good story when, at the last second, a hero arises to save the day and ride off into the sunset. It's the mark of a great story, however, when no hero steps up, the good guy does not win, and the ending leaves a cold, dark, hole in your chest when the world is kicked out from under your feet.

  • What has Mike understood after finished learning a lesson that he stated learning nine years ago? Why Linoge has taken away His son? I think not only because Ralphie has a fairy-sadlle birthmark.

    Mike was a constable.

Linoge: "Your town is full of adulterers, pedophiles, thieves, murderers..... You don"t like knowing, do you?"

"In this world you have to pay as you go. Usually a lot. Sometimes all you have."

  • So, Linoge wants the young kid named Ralphie?

I bet he is a pedophile!!!

    This is a geat miniseries!

  • loq and cool xD

  • What I never understood about the story is why this demon needed a child from one of the families off the coast of Maine when all he had to do was go to foster care and adopt one. Any why did he show up where it was cold and snowing when he instead could've chosen sunny warm Florida? This is one seriously retarded demon.

  • I think he needed that specific child.. from the start.. the rest was just a cruel joke

  • This island in Maine knew how to keep a secret. Linoge then choice a child from this place.

  • lool!

i never looked at it that way..

  • @watchdog68 I think it mentions that the parents have to willingly GIVE the child up. And no one is down in Florida but the Golden Girls, and that would just be a mess if Linoge got tangled up with them.

  • we spent like a whole week watching this movie when i was in high school in AP english..loved it!

  • I remember seeing this. Great story, I guess, but it morally bothered me. They act like childrens existence is somehow worth more then that of an older person, and thats sad. I don't judge the worth of a person by their age. If I had to go with that dude to save seven people, Id do it. Im thinking that sacrificing every human to save one is selfish. A parent will chose to save their child even if it meant ending the world, especially if its a pre teen, but that doesn't make it right.

  • they could have ended the evil, if they made their sacrifice. Now he's gonna make a new demon/wizard out of the kid, and it starts all over again.

  • it's crazy I didnt even know this was Stephen Kings'. I just remember watching it as a kid and I thought i look it up again cause I loved it so much. Weird...

  • this and rose red are my favorite stephen king movies, ever.. and firestarter is my favorite stephen king book :]

  • My favorite Steven King movie.

Sometimes the bad guy does win. lol

  • the bad guys should win for more often. its just not realistic to have a happy ending in all movies. plus i would like it. >:)

  • @NeutronBalm cuss i neeed to know that u fucking faggot.

  • i like this movie but i hate the end^^ thats so sad )=

  • love this and for some reason don't know why... love the new england scenery, stephen king, tim daly is captivating to me, and it's a step away from mainstream film... those could all be why but nonetheless i love it anyway!

  • sounds like batman is doing the naration

  • the one who plays Robbie looks like the one who played the old man in the mist

  • its the same guy, he was in the Green Mile too

  • it is. he's in the green mile too. think he's into stephen king or something. good actor =).

  • I've seen this movie when I was 8 years old or so, I was scared crapless for 2 weeks. Funny thing is, I've got that same thing 5 years ago when I saw the grudge, wich trully is a dawn scarry movie

  • I have this movie :D well I know it's not exactly a movie but I have it :D

It is one of my all-time favorites!!!

  • It was a mini-series. It came out on ABC in the 90s and it came out in three parts in three days. It's one of my favorites of Stephen King's movies/mini-series. If those of you who haven't seen it, I highly recommend it :) it's really good

  • I remember when it came out :)

That's where I got into it so when I saw it on VHS I bought it right away.

And I agree with you, highly recommended!!!

"Give me what I want and I'll go away"

  • i have been trying to figure out what movie this is for ages, i had the whole marble thing in my head and it was driving me crazy! does anyone know if that scene has been uploaded? please

  • damn i remember watching this movie

    great movie!

  • One of my most favorite Stephen King stories.Legend.

  • this is my favorite movie

  • this is the first King Movie/miniseries (i've seen it all at once so its like a movie to me) i've ever seen, and daaaamn, it is goooood <33

  • How many parts or episodes have this mini-serie???

  • omg! i repeated "give me what i want and ill go away" when i was three years old all the time and my mom still remembers

  • I just watched this on True Movies... EPIC FILM! I love the music in this too! Anyone know where I could get it? :)

  • I love just about all of Stephen King movies and mini-series.

  • The best movie 4ever

  • This movie was so good, mainly b/c he actually got what he wanted and then he went away ha

  • i was in such big suspense during this movie! .. it`s great!

  • Tremendous movie...one of the best, if not the best!

    Signed by,

The Wrong Arm of the Law :-)

  • Definitely one of the best King stories out there. I just love how Shirley Jackson's story "The Lottery" plays a big part in the end.

  • I remembered when this aired on ABC. I was too afraid to watch it but I was only nine when this came out and just hearing Stephen King gave me chills. We watched The Shining (1997) and that scared the f*cking S*it out of me

  • One on his better miniseries..... so are IT, Rose Red, and The shining (1997)

  • One of the best movies ever, same as Rose Red, Diary of Ellen Rimbauer and The Stand!!

  • Agree to that!!

  • amen

  • stupidest ending ever

  • i like to eat food. food is for people

  • Are some of you kidding me?? I loved this movie, It was a Masterpiece.

  • Was. It IS a masterpiece ;)

  • Not realy one of the best king films ever - but still good

  • awsome

  • great movie. probably the longest movie you'll see, but worth it. slow progression, has the feeling of something like "The Shining" were the whole movie is suspenseful.

  • Linoge looks like New Zealand Prime Minister John Key! Don't believe me?? Seriously check it out! We gave him what he wanted- but he didn't go away!!

  • I want Stephen King writing a book Storm of the century.

  • Say what you want but I think this is the best Stephen King movie ever.

  • Thank You, I'm glad someone is Intelligent in here, it was a Fantastic Movie and yes the BEST !

  • The Green Mile? The Shawshank Redemption? No? Really? This is better than both of those?

  • In my Opinion, YES! Its DEFINITALY one of the , when not THE most Atmospheric TV Miniseries! Its Amazing, trust me

  • too long is right.

But over-all,this is a great horror flick.

    Under-rated.

    Fuckin perfect type villain....

  • that movie was scary! lol i sound like a 12 yr old! lol.. anyways he makes some crappy movies but this one was tight!

  • I'm reading the screenplay right now.

  • This is one of my top 5 movies.. seriously, perfectly created!!!

  • Ralphie! Ralphie! HISS!

  • Wost movie ever!!

  • Sometimes there are things in life that don't have to be spoon-fed to you. Impressive, huh! Idiot.

  • good point. I don't understand why people gave you a thumbs down. More movies need to be solved by the watchers imagination. Maybe it will improve current Americas IQ, for starters.

  • Well, probably not a film, but a book can do the trick. If people read more, they could improve their imaginations, and they could decipher the meaning behind any image (or dialogue) from
