I'm going to that E3 but I know for sure that they won't be releasing a new console... On my opinion it's too early. Playstation and Xbox are bringing tons of new stuff to there consoles I just think that they both are going to show up with something amazing because they both learned from there mistake and from there mistakes they'll learn what they missed. Either of them are good for gaming and none of them are better then each other... And they both last as long as each other it all depends on how well you look after them... The consoles are still keeping up, but it'll get to a point to where the graphics cards are getting out of date. I mean look at Battlefield 3, the engine (Frostbite 2) will be incredible, so it should handle and run the game well as long as the engine works, and uses most of the PS3 core and Xbox GPU.

Ugh, I hate both consoles. I've had my 360 for 3 years without any breaking down and am extremely bored with it. As I am with playing on my brothers PS3. I'm going to save up and buy a decent gaming computer since you can actually have fun with those.

sony is not planning to make a new console for some time mabye around 2016 or some thing but as emcsnipez said a magic ability to update... new updates will be released unlocking new areas to the graphics card and the system.

And even the low to mid spec gaming desktops harness much better graphical capabilities than both Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. Also, the only reason why consoles have more exclusives is because of all of the PC ones getting ported to consoles. Such as Crysis 2, Half life: Ep 3 etc etc.

Microsoft said that there is no need for new consoles because anything they wanna add they can add through software and hardware updates. Which means that we won't have to wast 500 bucks for a very long time.

It does matter that PS3 and Xbox360 came from Nintendo...The point is that PlayStation is better then Nintendo right now for consoles... they didnt devolve they evolved just to let you know... i would not say the games have down graded from super Nintendo...

@ponykiller57 lol if u compare the release dates of the 360 and ps3 the xbox is leading BIG! The xbox was released 2005 and the ps3 was released 2006-2007 then the graphics and all had improved much still the graphic of the xbox and ps3 is almost the same and the xbox was 1-2 years before the ps3! The xbox can also do the things you can in the ps3 plus some more that you cant do on the ps3! So if u put all the things ive said the xbox is still better if u think of the year released!

@tobepersa i do belive that the xbox 360 was rushed to come out first than the ps3. Which brought anything but bad things like hardware problems and the so known "ring of death". Not saying that the ps3 is better, just saying that coming out first does not mean that is better.

Still the xbox and ps3 graphics are allmost the same and the xbxo was still released 1-2years before when the graphics was not as good as when ps3 were made... @tobepersa whered you get your info?? cause according to gameinformer ps3 is leading 360 and the wii is almost beating the 360 too. and actually the ps3 has quite better graphics and free live, along with all the same features as 360. ps3 also has blu-ray. personally i prefer the 360 but in theory the ps3 is a better system.
