I could get King's Quest 7 for Windows 7 Home Premium 32-Bit on CD-ROM for my 27th Birthday because I think Princess Rosella is kinda beautiful, very pretty and still lovely for a girl.
Oh and the part with the Boogy Man, and that other creepy pop-out-of-the-ground-monster in that Halloween area (If I remember correctly) pretty much made me crap my pants every time I ran into them while playing. It's amazing how things that terrified you as a kid aren't that scary as an adult....

The problem with your statement is the game IS good. you cant dislike something just because its different then its predecessors. thats ignorant. Thats like me saying how horrible brawl is because its not like the first two. Its obvious im full of shit because brawls fun, even if its not like the games before it.
I think either you like this game, or you don't. I like it because I played it as a child, and it gives me good memories. I just finished playing it again now (about 12 years since I've played it), and ofcourse it's different now considering it's more of a childrens game.. but it still gives me good memories and a nice gamefeeling, and I think that's the most important part about games. Giving a good feeling when playing it.

The lip-synch is a bit off, but that doesn't take away from how much I love this! I love this game so much, and I had been hoping that Edgar and Rosella would get together...

I don't care if you think this game is good, it completely took away the spirit of the older games, and destroyed the nature of the characters.

You are totally right. I hated this game. I played up until halfway through the Halloween looking place but grew tired of it.
KQ5&6 were awesome though.
