until its possible to produce vast quantities of hydrogen without using Petroleum then Hydrogen will make sense.

for now just build a rail transit system the ultimate solution

because the Car whatever fuel it is IS the problem

My point exactly...Thats why we need to just go full electric!! Like the Tesla company is doing, and the Chevy volt is a GREAT start!!

Using laptop batteries that fail within a year. LOL FAIL BATTERY = FAIL CAR. Get better technology for rechargable batteries that meet the specs, then it'll be better. Also consider powerplants and the enviroment. Strain much?
