i have a iphone 3g 4.0 (jailbroken with jailbreakme) and i want to tether to my ipad wifi ( so NO 3g ) i want to know if its possible on the 4.0 firmware because i heard stories that the ipad doesnt reconize the mywi networks.... PLEASE HELP!!!!

@bigboigman There isn't. it all depends on your cellular data plan. I'm on t-mobile's $9.99 Unlimited Web plan and can tether for as long as i want.

My only gripe is Edge is considerably slower than 3G, otherwise it works and there're no limits. You can connect as many devices as you want (at least theoretically), but keep in mind that the more devices connected to the wifi, then the slower it gets.
