This is probably the hardest final boss in any game I've ever actually played. I never could beat it. Every year or so, I'll pick this game up for a bit and try again, but I never get it. O_O

I suppose what I really need to do is just put in some extra time grinding my character and getting some better special abilities, but I don't care that much anymore.

Took so long to beat dracula just for that ending?!?!?! too bad, i think this is a great game, i never finished the fight with dracula and after seing the ending i never will, so disapointing :/

Beating the game isn't about the ending, but unlocking the secret modes. They are alot of fun.

Castlevania games are notorious for crappy endings compared to the amount of work put into the game, but with games such as Circle of the Moon or Symphony of the Night, completing the game the first time is only partially about going through the story, but mostly about unlocking the "special modes."  In SotN, you get Richter, Luck, and Axearmor modes, and in CotM, you get Magician, Fighter, Shooter, and Thief modes.

I got the level 99 and dracula is so easy.

His charge attacks were so scary! I would get hit with one of those and loose like 284 damage!

u over use the roc wing to dodge and when he just turns in an eye use the whip and crosses cuz ice blocks will protect u

easy way to win on 2nd form of dracula is have the dss cards where you have 4 ice blocks gardin u (jupiter and serpent) then when ur there, when hes usin the line thing get on the floating floor and just keep throwin crosses at the eye 3 x's in arow over and over, when the poisin things come out just keep throwin crosses a the eye cuz u have ices blockin u, when the meter shower comes keep doin the same things i said and just hope they dont hit u, when he tries to run (continue on next comment)

i have a stratgy for this too. when you fight dracula in his second form, switch your selected cards to mercury and unicorn, and just swing that whip. and when he charges, use the roc's wing and go stright up to avoid that. but for the metor shower... well, just run and pray to god

oh, and when it comes to the bubbles, just swing your whip! and for the laser beam, you the roc's wing for that too!

This catlevania is way better than harmony of dissonance and i think it's at the same level has Aria of Sorrow, the only difference is that it took me 15 hours to beat circle of the moon and Aria took me 5 hours :| the last boss was way easier 2

the cheap way to do this fight was to turn intot he skeleton and throw the bone for 9999 damage or how ever much it was.

U have to do it as you face like... if u r facing the left side u have to press left, down. right, up then the attack button and viceversa and u have to do it quick.

Actually, it's just Down, the direction you're facing, then Up + Whip.

lol...my chars level 99, with 40 hours, 30 minutes, 27 secs...100% map, all dss cards and EVEN their descriptions, and every item. i had 40 hours of spare time across like 3 years to max out...now i just put up my circular shield, soldier fatigues, and strength armbands and walk through the game, pretty much ANYTHING that touches it dies...

my character kills drac's first stage in 5 hits and his second in 7...i would PWN!! you...

Oh man I remeber this game. I haven't played in it sooo long. Ever since I first beat this game I stopped playing it. But man the last boss took me like a hour and a 100 trys before I finally beat him. Mostly do cause I didn't have any of those powers and mostly just went head on with my trusty whip. Nice job on the video. Man I really should pick this game back up soon.

How did you get that special card combination, i didnt have that one. I killed him with 2 surrounding things round me. I died like 30 times and it took like 40 minutes to kill him... ( the battle )
