New Fareboxes on Golden Gate Transit Buses - English

We've been using GenFare for about 2 years now. Minimal problems except riders who have been sticking a dollar in a coke machine for years cant seem grasp the same concept with fare boxes.

GFI Odyssey is shit. Ever since they installed these in Montreal, it has been nothing but long delays at every stop because the box fails

We have these and our are alot easier we it takes alot of coins at a time and the bills go right in quick

These fare boxes are a hassle. They slow down the ride by A LOT! The boxes are too slow! And why push the discount cards?  Wouldn't it be better to push the Translink cards? It would be a lot quicker boarding the buses!

the GFI Odyssey fareboxes are a pain in the butt. I hate em because they slow us down. With the coins you have to put in one at a time. The bill feeder is picky. It wont even accept a torn bill or if its faded. The older ones were so much better.

Tell me about it. It's a pain here in DC because you get folks with cash that get on first and all those with passes or Smartrip cards have to wait. It's even worse in Baltimore when you get that morning crowd that pays with cash to get passes always holding the bus up. If only they had their smart cards already.

Just needs tweaking on the volume & quality of the voices...the "extras" should have used the "three things" as alluded to in the instructional dialogue to keep the process consistent (rather than just saying good morning!
