LISTEN PEOPLE!. The reason you aren't understanding the song is because you don't want to. Yea Lil Wayne got the idea from Eminem but they send 2 different messages. Eminem's "Stan" is about a fan who adores him. A typical fan. When Stan looks for Eminem for guidance, He doesn't get a response in time & later kills himself. DEAR ANNE is a letter that Lil Wayne is writing to Anne on how much his fans support helps him in writing music & showing he takes time out of his schedule to write them..

For those who dont understand he's Rapping as if he's writing a Personal letter to his Fans (Anne) he's just Venting and expressing his thoughts, kinda like he's our (we the fans) Pen Pal.. n in the end he ties it all together putting Anne in relation to Stan by expressing his condolences becouse if you've never heard Eminem's Stan they you wouldnt know that in that song stan kills himself..
