@ChristianCageCarisma "Spitting it's venom at it's prey, causing blindness, and eventually paralysis, allowing the Dilophosaurus to eat at it's leasure." It doesn't kill him, but it allows it to kill him easier. Dilophosaurus in reality had no frill, no venom and was 20 feet long though.

This dilo is actually very young. They normally get much bigger as adults. The frill and the venom spitting however are probably the result of the gene splicing.

Well yeah I certainly did to for that character Dennis in the Jurassic Park story but in the end because he was so greedy and wanted money and more then enough... Well I know I saw him steal the dinosaur embryo's eggs since he was hired and paid 1,000,000 million dollars to that... I personally believe I think he kind of got what he deserved in the end. taste of his own medicine killed by dilophosaurus.

Yes! I love Jurassic Park! It's a classic! So how many of you dinosaur lovers here have watched walking with dinosaurs and when dinosaurs roamed America. In the "When Dinosaurs Roamed America" just picture that Dilophosaur in this movie instead of the one being portrayed! :) Don't get me wrong I think both designs are neat in their own way but every time I see this scene I think of the other one. LOL What do you think?

@chasejohnston1993 Well I will tell you he was a bad guy and he got what he deserved and especially with the fact he greedy and wanted a bonus for his extra work and he absolutely under estimated the nature of wild life with dinosaurs like with that dilophosaurus exactely created man made DNA being subsequently poisoned. I definitely felt sorry for that guy in the story getting killed by that young dilophosaurus but not his evil greed but in the end I think he kind of got what he deserved for it

@sinsofmen I couldn't agree more, since the actual dilophosaurus has weak up and lower jaws, it's couldn't stand a good fight. So the theory is that Dilophosaurus's saliva was riddled in toxins and bacteria to that of a Komodo Dragon or a Gila Monster. Let us say that Mr. Nedry somehow escaped harsh reality and dodged Karma, so he completed with the mission and he got the embryos overseas. Imagine if scientists from another country mass produced the DNA and there would be another park exactly this or worse, somehow the Dinos escaped and all Hell would break lose.

Sometimes that would freak me out as a kid, I swear, I would be contemplating whether that could happen. Anyways, love this movie :)!

I love this scene. A big dissapointment when I watched the blu ray and of course the quality was amazing but picked up a directors error due to the clearness of the transferl. Just when the Dilophosaur releases its head piece to spit the venum you can see lines pulling the frills open (LOOK ON THE RIGHT HAND SIDE OF THE OPENING OF CREST) Amazing to see how things were done in those days!
