It's shocking how ignorant today's children are about the dark arts. It really warms my heart to know that someone is out there trying to help educate our kids!
As a parent of two beautiful children I would like to say that we need more shows like Bon Bon the Voodoo clown, there just simply isn't enough black magic shows for kids!

Are you crazy?! That's jim bruer and tom cruise mixed into one person so how could it be from the 60's? Walk on gilded splinters with the king of the Zulu's. I think Keanu Reeves must have gotten sucked in than imediately spit back out of the genetic welting of Cruise and Bruer...I don't know I get that sorta vibe. 'Ding!'
A fake. A two minute Google search and I found the unaltered, and very new, video on Yahoo video. Even without that, come on, the music played is contemporary, and was shot with someone's camcorder. Just a prank. If you're taken in by it you are more naive than Spongebob.
Well duuh. Are you a Ph.D candidate by any chance?Still. If there really were shows like this when I was a malenky boy,I would NEVER have had to endure Davey and Goliath, much less Sesame Street.Though it would have been more interesting had it been Santeria Street.
the kids were going who who who who who like arsenio hall they did not do that back then. they weren't trying to hide that the movie is current. tongue in cheek. this was just plain great
I'm mildly dissappointed in this, actually. That it seems people in the comments actually think this specific video was on in the 1960's, when there is specific color footage? Ah well. Maybe they're just being ironic? Anyway, the video's kinda funny.
Totally and utterly bizarre. I have a hard time believing this was produced in the early 60's since TV was still fairly innocent and strictly monitored for moral deviation and even language content. I do not remember such a show being on in NY back then, so I'm inclined to think it's mislabeled. Today, a children's clown practicing voodoo and channeling the dead is perfectly normal, but back then it was considered in poor taste.

The audio and film doesn't sound like it's from the 1960s, the back story on this video is a farce.

Really trashy&cool clip, but you should´ve paid more attention to the costumes, they are not very 60s-like, unfortunately... still very good!
