  • what the fuck is this!?!?!

  • very well made

  • very well made

  • @Alexander18041995 "the only thing you can do is disrespect other cultures that existed a long time before you'r MMA"

What does this have to do with other cultures? Martial arts are about fighting. Arts that don't help you become better at fighting should not be where you go to learn self defense.

  • @Alexander18041995 "and than, MMA was born, and MMA guys started saying Kung Fu doesn't."

MMA was born out of TMA people fighting in a competition where there were no rules. Kung Fu did not do well at all when there were no rules, which was proof enough for everyone else that it doesn't work. It turns out it only really works in movies.

  • @Alexander18041995 "Okay look, Chinese martial arts exist for thousands of years"

As has Boxing, Wrestling and MMA. Whether something is older or newer than something else says nothing at all about it's usefulness.

"world accepted Kung Fu as a very impressive collection of martial arts"

Yes, thanks to David Carradine in the TV series "Kung Fu", and, of course, Bruce Lee's acting.

  • @Alexander18041995 You think you're working hard and training hard, and maybe you are. But statistics from all the empirical evidence in the world proves you are not learning to fight in any way.

  • @Alexander18041995 "and a student also becomes a better person"

I disagree. Chinese martial arts tend to make people stupid. It'll make you believe in impossible things without any proof at all. You will disregard mountains of empirical evidence because your magical sifu told you you can be deadly without working hard or actually sparring, which is exactly like learning to swim on land without ever getting wet.

  • @Alexander18041995 I also am not showing off. I have not said a single thing about my own abilities, accomplishments, etc.

"Chinese martial arts are not only about combat"

They have nothing to do with combat (except Sanda which is extremely useful and has proven itself by producing actual fighters).

    "student studies philosophy, buddhism"

Pseudo-philosophy actually. If you really want to learn philosophy, take a philosophy class. For Buddhism, visit an actual Buddhist temple.

  • @Alexander18041995 "You obviously know nothing about Chinese martial arts"

I can promise you, I know far more about CMA than you do.

"you should respect others and stop showing off"

I give respect where respect is due. People who claim to teach others to fight, charge them money, and them have them do dances all day long without any fighting application whatsoever do not deserve respect. Those people are frauds, and most of the traditional martial arts world is populated with frauds.

  • giood vid.enter the dragons still the best martial arts film nearly 40 years on.

  • I'd first like to say nice video man.. And why all this talk about UFC fighters being able to be shalion monk and Bruce lee..first off the monks have been fighting for there lives long before any of you were born!! Dont get me wrong I like watching the UFC but there is way to many rules so u can't really say people like Anderson silva, George st Pierre. And all can take what they know on the street and expect to come out ahead..as far as Bruce lee goes don't bring the man into this subject if h

  • "first off the monks have been fighting for there lives long before any of you were born!!"

No actually the monks don't fight. They don't even spar. There is next to nothing related to fighting going on in the Shaolin Temple. Similarly, Bruce Lee did not compete in anything or even spar with his training partners. Much of what people think they know about Bruce Lee and Shaolin monks is much more myth and fantasy than fact. Yes, MMA fighters are without a doubt the best fighters in the world.

  • Pretty cool!

  • bruce lee rocks! My inspiration in life!

  • making of Forest law? :D

  • i thought my cell phone ringed at the beginning

  • Thats a cool video game

  • In this animation, have moviments of movies of bruce lee and some hard moviments and tecnics of him.

  • cool

  • my dads a third degree black belt in tia kwan doe

  • @hujewman03

Too bad he's not a teacher.

  • @hujewman03 bruuce lee 10 dan

  • LOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL @ 1:06

  • @DJD420Official in 1:06 ! He saw himself and loved himself!

  • Seagal applies basic locks and strikes to counter Anderson Silva. Bruce Lee invented JKD around locks, trapping etc. With the intention of using it in a real street fight. Not an octagon, where it is modified.

Jet Li, look at his reflexes. He is quick. That film was shot at regular speed. Li told the MMA fighters, to make the fight scene authentic, use your natural speed in your strikes. They did. He countered with his reflexes.

MMA fighters are great. BJ Penn and GSP are my favorites.

  • @nusrathussein Silva almost lost because of this stupid seagal shit..Should let him be with just doing bruce lee's stuff.. Seagal suck ass, he know how to crap that's it..lol

  • @yangyeevue Just remember...Bruce Lee is the greatest martial artist/fighter of all time.

  • @nusrathussein yeap bruce is the shit and seagal sucks dick big time.lol

  • @nusrathussein Jet Li does Wushu. A performance art. There is no application to real world fighting at all. Same with Seagal and Aikido. You don't look to actors to find the best fighters. You look to actual professional fighters who make a living by fighting and training in martial arts.

  • I am not trying to disrespect shaolin monks nor Bruce Lee. Bruce Lee in particular had a methodology that did not believe in applied schools of martial arts in the first place. I started this conversation under the mantle that Bruce Lee would have seen how effect Jiujitsu was in the ring, and may or may not have adapted to it in order to defeat it. He MUST have or he would have fallen in so many situations the instant his back would have touched the ground. Bruce Lee was no fool.

  • This should be a video game.

  • THIS IS A PART 2 TO MY RESPONSE remember martial artist its all about SPEED, ACCURACY, AND TECHNIQUE.

  • kung fu is not all about punching and kicking its using you whole entire body to fight like bruce lee said be like water be formless and shapeless most fighters stay stiffind up with there opponents but thats the worst thing you can do in a fight there are so many open spots to hit and put the opponent down very quickly kung fu has knees, elbows, hands, feet, shoulders, fingerknuckles, wrist, palm, knife edge of the hand, and much more.

  • Anyone who thinks current Shaolin monks would win against top MMA fighters needs to put down their old kung fu VHS bootlegs and get some fresh air. You have to be fucking realistic. Even Bruce would struggle in the octagon. However, he would have adapted as well. Lee was never one for styles. If he saw what fighting has become with BJJ, he would have adapted that into his repertoire as well. I guarantee it. He's not an idiot.

  • @strikerk are you still comparing MMA to a real fight? Sport competition vs street fighting...hmmm.

Now Bruce Lee specialized in street fighting. That was his competition. And you want to compare an octagon to a street fight?

Please, read some and educate yourself.

  • @nusrathussein

...yeah, I'm going to leave this alone. You've got to be trolling me if you think mma groundwork is only applicable in sports competition. Those guys are heavily restricted and they still do insane damage. In actual combat you don't think those guys would be able to choke, gouge or bite their way into a pretty bloody situation? Have you ever actually seen Bruce in a street fight? You using his movies as a basis for actual combat, or what? :(

  • @strikerk Mma is a great sporting event. in the world of marital arts, most of these guys are slow. if you want to know about real martial arts, watch any of the shaolin training videos, original bruce lee training videos, any chinese or any other martial art training videos. People that train not for sport but for killing. That is true martial arts.

These mma fighters can beat the crap out of people like you and me, but against a shaolin monk or even bruce lee for that matter...no chance.

  • Comment removed

  • @strikerk pick any of your heroes...watch the jet li film cradle to the grave. when he goes into the octagon. that is a small sample of reality.

the mma fighters are more bulky and slower. jet li is lightening quick. notice where he was hitting these fighers.

it will give you an idea of mma vs wing chun in a real fight.

not a tournament, sanctioned ufc event with money on the line.

    that is a sport.

  • @nusrathussein

Um, you're citing movies~ like... films, pretend. The kind of thing that is spliced up with film where people are doing choreographed stunts. Usually choreographed by the stars you're citing. Choreography designed to look good and effective. Many times sped up for a particular effect, or slowed down to have a particular look or intensity. Jet Li is a wonderful and skilled performer. However he is an unproven fighter. Can you show me a time he has ever hit an opponent in combat?

  • @strikerk I am gong to use your logic now. Since you claim that mma fighters can beat shaolin monks and if bruce lee was alive, would also beat up bruce lee...show me some videos, where shaolin monks are getting beat by mma fighters.

  • @nusrathussein

It's difficult, considering that Shaolin monks don't have real life battles. Are you starting to get what I'm talking about? Actual combat PROVEN techniques are being applied in and out of the ring. For years, the call was out for any fighting system to go against Brazilian Jiujitsu in multiple formats that once even had less stringent rules. MMA as you know it is heavily watered down. Even then none could defeat the style, quickly dissolving in one on one combat when challenged.

  • @strikerk But this goes back to your argument. You claim that MMA fighters will beat Bruce Lee or Shaolin monks because of their training and fighting background. Yet...you are trying to convince me based on your logic.

I am telling you that Bruce Lee or Shaolin Monks can defeat MMA fighters because of their training and background.

Also, too give you an idea...look at Steven Seagal training Anderson Silva.

There is an eg of both worlds combining. And everything I told you happens.

  • @nusrathussein

You are asking me to show you something nobody has seen outside of legend. You're asking me to tell you that magic doesn't exist. I know you hold those legends to high esteem. However it's akin to a faith based system. You have nothing really to show for it. You're looking at tons of physical training and ethics as equal to proven combat strategies. People who beat each other daily, in applied schools of training. Where people die to the fist and blade as we speak.

  • lol... it looks like Marshall Law..

  • @uknowuchange homie martial law is lee lol they mo caped him :P jk

  • nice work

  • nice 3d

  • how did you get this its wicked

  • that animation exactly looks like him.

  • 234R5TY <3

  • what is this shit?! Bruce lee trainin my ass just some dumb bad animations shit

  • MMA and the likes of the UFC was formed out of ambition and influence of Bruce Lee. It was said many times before ... Go for a takedown - you eat fists, go for a punch/kick - you already received 5 or 6 lol

  • great animation on the video of him.

  • Good!

  • very cool video

  • that's pretty cool...........

  • SHAOLIN MONKS RULES

    copy and spam =D

  • Best animation of Bruce Lee on the internet. Thanks for posting this. Training is what Bruce Lee made so respected. His short life made people realise what the human body can achieve. It's not that he could only do 2 finger push ups or could do one inch punches, but it's all about his dedication that inspires people. His dedication is worth more then winning a 100 fights and becoming the World Champion boxing or something like that.

  • 5 stars!!!!!!1

  • hearing is also a big part of martial arts

  • Bruce lee great . rip :d

  • his body is as far as a human go without the use of proteins or steriods. Restpect and rip for Bruce Lee

  • This video was awesome. Nice job!!! Bruce Lee was great!!!

  • Very nice dude. I heard there was special technique he had to throw such quick punches.

  • jaja wau!!!!!!!!!!!! is bruce lee questio the dragon???

  • i want that kind of yellow outfit, how cool!

  • lol

    sounds from '"lee'' from tekken

  • Actually Law :) Its him on game but i dont know why they maked him law

  • good vid man

  • Epic Music!!!

  • A style is just nice for kung fu movies. I put my money on the 200 pound guy with big muscles. jk :P you guys go ahead and have your endless debate on youtube, dont mind lil ol me xD

  • this is a really good animation, i like the various sequences that you used.

in regard to some of the comments i have read about there being no better martial art just a better fighter, i would have to disagree. in general, yes every art/style has weaknesses and strengths. but there are styles that are better and worse. (and yes there is alot that depends on the individual artist)

  • just the fact u went threw the trouble of making this is awesome, i love it......to bad u couldnt make him any faster and to comment on a comment not true some styles are better bruce lee made a fighting style,,many of the styles art antcient art forms, ART they arent ment to be the best style just a form of defense if needed....awesome video!

  • Oh yea i wanted to say great job with your animated version of Bruce Lee.=)

  • good luck folding your eyes =)

  • was you high when you thought about this

  • Yea right mada bitch!! LOL! Bruce Lee sexy!!!=)

  • This is very good! I recognize all the sequences frmm different movies/appearances. Your Animation is true.

  • I hate how there are so many petty arguements about who would beat who etcetera on all Bruce Lee and martial art videos.

firstly no style is better than another each has strengths weakness and limitations.

Secondly it is the individual fighter NOT the style that is better than his opponent.

Finally it is often not down to just who is the better fighter, not even to who was better on that day but more who succeeds in those split seconds where a strike is thrown.

  • that'a a good vis but breuce lee was realy faster in the reality!!

  • Shaolin monks would get wrecked by most mma fighters and most medium skilled street fighters. Bruce Lee would beat any martial arts fighter in a sanctioned match but would have a much more difficult time in a street scenario where his opponent isn't using martial arts techniques.

  • would you like to clarify when you say "street scenario" because bruce lee use to get into a bunch of street fights when he was growing up in the ghetto areas of china.

  • i begged to differ cause martial arts requires striking like karate. so on the streets mostly the striker would win cause if u have ever gone on a takedown on concrete? cause that shit hurts like fuck on the knees and other body parts that hit the ground.

  • i wouldnt say the monk would win. i mean what if they mma fighter got them on the ground? and they wreslte and do ju jitsu and stuff. exactly. but monks are fast very fast. mma fighters are good punchers to but monks are like beasts. its a 50 50. chance

  • Now I no longer merely think, MMA fighters have no chance against Shaolin monks; I KNOW it. I'm sorry but most of those guys can't stretch worth a damn; extremely stiff, extremely inflexible.

Ultimately I shouldn't be talking; total pliability is something that elludes me....

  • true...i barely cant imagine how it would end between a MMA fighter and Shaolin Monk but i do know that the Shaolin monk will win though

  • the style has nothing to do with it, although it is important; the "secret" to Shaolin "power," is their flexibility and meditation, everything else comes later. You only get the fullest extent of physical conditioning, be it strength, endurance, being able to hold the horse stance for 4 hours, only if your body is as flexible as a cat's. It is that flexibility, which gives Shaolin monks hitting power disproportionate to their size. Cats are strong, because they're pliable.

  • But why do cats like to be spanked then?

  • The reason members of the cat family have near flawless coordination, great strength, and incredible focus, is rooted in their flexibility. The larger cats have densely packed muscle too, which helps a lot. Jaguars that weigh a mere 120 lbs, can drag 450 lb Tapirs up trees holding them in their jaws.

  • Well Stardingo747.. I have to say, you know your stuff bud. I have to admit you are right, I have been studying the Martial Arts my whole life, and flexibility is the BIG thing in Martial Arts. Waita Go!

  • actually I don't know jack crap, I'm just observant 'cause I suck, and I am trying to make myself better.

  • @stardingo747

    you serious??

to be honest i like the shaolin monks attitude its like a way of living for them

yet for MMA fighters its a sport a hobby perhaps.

monks don't train to destroy opponents.. hell they don't even assume having an opponent, they assume having a 'partner'

MMA fighters may lack the finesse but they compensate with strength.. brute strength..

it would be a fantastic match up seeing (say) fedor vs bruce lee(both in top condition) having at it, each with their own style

  • @cihant

lol u have no idea a strong bruce was he was a genetic freak he cud do 50 1 arm pull ups and he was so fast no1 cud beat him regardless of weight

  • @stardingo747 Most of MMA Fighters rely only on their brutal strenght, no strategy, no technique, just brutal andactually works 'cause the oponent does the same. MMA style may be the best if it's a one-on-one fight, inside a cage. But what do you do if it's actually 2 guays who want to attack you? or if it's 3 or 4?

  • @stardingo747...Then, Jiu-Jitsu and Wrestling moves won't help you at all and don't even mention trying to take one of your oponents to the ground, because the moment you do it, the other 2 or 3 guys just rape you!...On the other hand, MMA Fights may be "in fashion" now, the same way it is Pornography and Drugs...

  • @stardingo747 No wonder why two of the most important representatives of this "discipline" (Tito Ortiz and Chuck Lidell) are linked with prostitutes as Jena Jameson and Jayden James respectively and not to mention Mr. Lidells connections with cocaine! With those representatives I wonder: "What kind of discipline is this?!"...A "sport" where there are no rules, a "sport" where your oponent is already unconcious and you keep banging his head with punches and kicks?!...Where is the honour there?

  • @leopoldvs despite his recent defeats and how "on the downslide" he's been, actually, Royce Gracie is still the most respected MMA fighter. Yeah, what's his face kicked his ass, the author of "Made in America" whatever the hell his name is, but he got Gracie well past his prime, and Sakuraba got a physically declining and aging Gracie still reeling from his injuries he got from Kimo.

  • @leopoldvs Matt Hughes is his name, and HE is now the most respected name in MMA. Far as anyone knows Hughes is squeaky clean; no criminal reccord. Naturally Gracie fans are gonna be pissed at him but, dude, he should have either been open minded and done some Tai Chi to get his youthful strength back, or not fought Hughes at all. fighting Hughes was the stupidest thing Royce Gracie ever did.

  • @leopoldvs Liddell and Ortiz are well liked but they are not the most respected; that honor goes to Shamrock, Gracie, Couture, Emanialenko and recently Hughes, and far as I know all those guys are clean and even have families. Seriously though after his fight with Kimo, Royce Gracie just wasn't the same; many of the fighters in the early days of MMA were genuinely dangerous, as the sport did not have a lot of its modern regulations.

  • @leopoldvs modern MMA has matured though; in the past the truly skilled guys people could count with their fingers, and they were ultra dominant, now, no one is dominant because everyone trains hard. I think holding on to the championship belt for just one year is a feat in MMA; to hold on to it for longer than 3, and you're a freak of nature. Even Fedor has taken a fall; just the work ethic of the wrestler I guess.

  • @stardingo747 I'm sure a good boxer or muay thai fighter would knock out a kung fu expert.

  • @thrillamf that would depend on what the Kung Fu style is and where they trained. Kung Fu ranges from the comically impractical, to the morbidly deadly.

  • @stardingo747 Another Youtube warrior posting uninformed sweeping generalities. .

  • @unclesara hey man, fuck you, I am not a mere youtube warrior. I am a youtube sword saint, no mere warrior man I am a SAINT.

  • @stardingo747 MMA practitioners have to be flexible, its a huge part of BJJ and the kicks they deliver. Nothing against a shaolin monk, but most traditional forms of kung fu really arent able to be used practically in a fight.

  • @Soldier0Cross Out of the 1,000 or so styles of Kung Fu, only about 40 are practical. The period of lawlessness created by the Taiping rebellion made it more difficult to spot frauds. The vast majority of Kung Fu styles all trace their ancestry to the Shaolin temple, the difference in the variety of styles is rooted in that not all the monks were true masters, hence, they taught the moves they were best at. Some monks were good at punching, others at kicking, hence different emphasis.

  • @Soldier0Cross In olden times an individual could not be married and be a monk; marrying meant leaving the Shaolin temple. To make a living many ex monks taught Kung Fu, because their students were not monks and had the entire day to train, they resorted to teaching, often, only one of the 5 forms, and even then sometimes just certain aspects of it. They weren't holding back knowledge out of malice, their students, who had jobs, simply did not have the time to learn everything.

  • @Soldier0Cross additionally, you had situations where styles, derived from styles, derived from styles, derived from styles, sometimes, the Kung Fu went in practical directions such as Wing Chun or Hung Gar, but more often than not the practical techniques were badly dilluted, and pretty soon the practical essence was lost. Be careful; in China, usually Kung Fu guys are either pathetically weak, or monstrously strong.

  • @Soldier0Cross If you wish to learn a practical Kung Fu style I reccomend Hung Gar Chuan; its basically a "crash course" version of the Shaolin system created by its greatest master roughly 350 years ago. Hung Hei Kung is probably the greatest martial artist of all time; I don't think anyone in modern times could beat him.

  • @stardingo747 dan hardy was a shaolin monks. so some research before speaking

  • @Gianky182 ah, no he wasn't. You mean Jason Delusia, and his Kung Fu lacked willpower. Drilling the techniques isn't enough; if Mabu isn't mastered first, Kung Fu is ineffective.

  • @stardingo747

Psst. hey, dont be sorry, the truth hurts. i HATE watching ufc cuz there kicks and form/technique suck Testicles. :\

  • I don't care if people disagree; I know I'm right.

Felines, are by far the most flexible predators in the mammalian kingdom, the combine flexibility with muscle density, hence, their bodies are constantly working at peak efficiency, that is why they are strong relative to their size.

  • So strength like the one displayed by Charles Atlas IS possible; the reason Charles Atlas was so massively strong for a 180 lb man, even at 60, was his flexibility. Muscle density plus pliability, combine it with physical activity, that makes for optimal strength. If you can't even drop to splits, then you have no business doing martial arts; I've seen way too many inflexible black belts out there. I think people should become flexible BEFORE studying martial arts.

  • after that, put on roughly 20 to 30 lbs of muscle. Absolute full strength is not possible without flexibility; FINALLY, took me a while but I finally figured it out. Feline strength, is rooted in their pliability; no predator is more flexible relative to their build.

  • took me a while, but, I finally figured out why felines are so strong; of all nature's predators, members of the cat family are by far the most flexible. Even the big cats are flexible; a combination of high flexibility, with muscle density, is what gives them their strength. Hence, to achieve the maximum possible levels of physical strength without sacrificing stamina, a person has to train themselves to where they are as flexible as a female olympic gymnast.

  • ya don't forget he died cause he had to much water in his brain, or a monk told him to make people believe he's died an go to a island, stop fighting over how he died, remember logic Bruce lee's a legend

  • LOL OMFG! i thought the whole thing was real untill 1:08

  • It's true man, look it up. He did after all die of a heart attack and noting his level of physical fitness, any rational thinking person would find it... suspicous.

  • hahahaha thats so ridiculous from his own government lolol thats not how it happened. he had a headache after a dinner with George Lazenby the 007 star they were planning to make a movie. after the dinner bruce said he had a headache so he bought some muscle relaxants and took them. he was hypersensitive to those muscle relaxtants and died, killed by the government thats so stupid omg.

  • it's actually a possibility, that's what it says on wikipedia, probably other sites/sources too.. but it's easy to cover up... so I'm not saying it's true, but it's cirtainly a possibility.

  • lol wikipedia i have looked it up went to many sites it says it could be killed by asian people because he was training caucasians but thats not the government
