@xXRageBabeXx i think usually when there're problems between parents, its possible that kids would blame themselves even slightly for the situation. ive thought it myself when i was younger, and i know other cases where the other kids thought that it was because of them their parents made certain decisions and regretted it. might not be a logical move, but sometimes its what you feel >.<

Arnold was also in a Simpsons mag in the early 90s, since Craig is wed to Matt Groening's sister, Lisa (Lisa Simpson's inspiration & the one responsible for Helga's crush), which thusly explains the Simpsons' cameo on Sesame Street in 1991. Cynthia resembles Helga--with Angelica herself having some tsundere traits--because Craig wrote for Rugrats, as well!
And, incidentally, the creators of Rugrats--Arlene Klasky & Garbor Csupo--broke into the business as animators for The Simpsons' early seasons & Matt Groening naturally based the title family on his own, with himself as Bart (both a mix-up of the word "brat", which the character was & a nod to brother-in-law Craig's last name "Bartlett"), sisters Maggie & Lisa (the latter wed to Craig), father Homer, & mom Margaret (she's said she doesn't go by Marge like the character does).
Helga was my fucking hero as a kid. AND SHE STILL IS.
