No he did it great ..he used hidden ip from other server not from Romania launch a trojan in their servers :) and stole all ... i just love him..

but hes catched now...

There've been at least a couple hackers recruited into or started legit business. I agree it is good sometimes.

As far as Vladuz's 'work' on eb, recently had an archived hacked listing come back w a virus or trojan that had been in the wild since 2007 or so. Malware scanner definitions finally caught up. So likely he is still claiming victims.

I'm not totally convinced they caught the "real" Vladuz though for various reasons, including intimate personal knowledge.

Yes, I do find it rather curious that there have been ZERO further 'official' reports. Surely ebay would take advantage of each & every possibility to spin PR....

To the best of my knowledge, ebay caught someone whom they entrapped, pinned the title on him. Word is that person was let go quietly after about 20 days incarceration and a small fine.

If V happens to make another appearance, IT would be a huge disaster for our friends at eb

We here in the USA are all wondering if there have been any real follow-up news reports?

I have seen comments which stated the person they actually got was released quietly after about 21 days with only a small fine.

No 'official' news anywhere that I have seen though.

Ebay just got done caught in BIG LIES about those fake scd listings. They've been caught lying dead-in-the-rights too many times. Like the so-called fee reductions, they were a fee INCREASE! lmao!
