That's 8000 fucking years ago, and they were neither black nor white. Egyptians were black and they slaved both whites and blacks 5000 years ago. Do you see anyone crying around about that? 2000 Years ago, slavery was everyday life in Ancient Greece, the culture which almost conguered the world. Whites slaving whites. Nobody is crying about that either.

The universe/God knows of no such things as good and evil, they are utterly human concepts. I'm not saying that we should forget the past either, but we should stop dragging it with us everywhere as if a piece of luggage. You can't blame us for what our ancestors did. The important thing is what we do in this moment, now.

i dont think it was kept in tact. the way they did it was so.... immature. they just didnt capture what it was about. they didnt get the tragedy. or the perfection that was Evangeline. They didnt get the character of Uncle Tom right. sorry . but i respect you guys for doing it and trying but some things are better left as they are
