  • I like this guy, but I don't agree with him on healthcare. Ron Paul is better.

  • Although I don't agree with him on most issues, Monetary reform is my number one most important issue. Nobody talks about it. Just the fact that he is even talking about it makes me admire him. If more democrats were like him, I would consider voting for him. neo liberals and neo conservatives distract us with non issues while they run us into the ground. Hardly anyone even realizes that monetary policy is far more important than any other issue.

  • Kucinich you sold out on health insurance. Liar. Disgrace.

  • This guy is a true old fashioned liberal.

  • is that his wife in the background? ow ow

  • Hey your that one who suddenly had a red tie on the screen, how come?

Did it hurt? That the truth was out there?

Anyway, do not understand that you understand that you cannot understand that you want to understand that you remain to understand, that you are not here able to understand, that my brain works much faster than you find excuses against me to understand, that your the one going to be prosecuted if you understand, your rights are in the hands of justice. So therefore the modernization..

  • everyone go look up CONSTITUTION FREE ZONES at the ACLU website

look out your window because THE REVOLUTION WILL NOT BE TELEVISED

  • I am with YOU and KUCINICH !!! 2012***

  • Is there anyone besides Kucinich and Ron Paul worth anything in Congress? Truth tellers, anti-war, anti-militiarism, frugality and economy in government,anti-federal reserve, oppennes in government, anti-patriot act, etc.

Congress is traitorous. Our money supply is control of a PRIVATE Bank. A predatory lender. THe constitution gives congress the power to coin money. Period. No one else. BUt there is a CONSPIRACY, the same one that killed JFk, that is trying to build A global government.

  • Damn Dennis, good job. The speech was good too.

  • Your 3 recommended fixes will never occur until the current crop of people in Congress are taken out through a collapse.

Most of them are clueless as to how the system works and are VERY happy about how it works. To them the Fed is a money tree that provides them with all they want to pay for their promises to the electorate (and the sheeple love it - just look at Obama's supporters).

Unfortunately the complete changes you propose won't be possible until the current system collapses.

  • So the current system has collapsed. Lets begin!

  • so when we fix everything, how will the rich now there better then us?

  • Nader/Gonzalez have put together a campaign to push for public health insurance (single-payer), to cut the bloated, wasteful military budget, to reverse U.S. policy in the Middle East, to take nuclear power off the table and to put solar energy on the table, to repeal the anti-union Taft-Hartley law, and to impeach Bush/Cheney.

Obama stands with Clinton and McCain against Nader/Gonzalez on all of these issues.

  • If people actually listened to candidates, rather than treat voting like a popularity contest, Ron Paul would win hands down.

  • Im SOOOO GLAD to see someone with influence besides Ron Paul telling the truth about the Federal Reserve. I still prefer Ron Paul over Kucinich as a Candidate, but i know that Kucinich reaches a lot of people that Ron Paul doesn't, and Americans of all political positions need to wake up to the facts about this private banking cartel.

  • You can't "waste a vote" in a free voting system, however, we DON'T have a free voting system. So, pineappleboy, all votes are irrelevant, including yours...

  • in the name of taxation and investment, can you see where your hard earn money is going?

  • Take what you can, give nothing back.

    Pirate mantra, or corporate?

  • Fuck Bush and Fuck Bush Sr. Fuck Hillary Clinton. Fuck Obama. Fuck Mitt Romney. Fuck Hucklebee. Fuck JOHN MCCain. Fuck John Edwards. Fuck Bill Clinton. Fuck Colin Powell. Fuck Condeleeza Rice. Fuck General Petraus. Fuck Paul Wlfowitz. Fuck Dick Cheney. Fuck Robert Gates. Fuck Donald Rumsfeld. Fuck Micheal Brown. Fuck george Tenet. Fuck Guliani. Fuck Bremer. Fuck Maliki. Fuck Harmid Karza. Fuck Gonzales, fucking liar. Fuck This Government period for not standing up for Truth and Justice!!!

  • sicko points out problems but doesn't explore the truth about socialized medicine.

  • take it from this Canadian, Americans are being ripped off.

Your average life expectancy tells the truth.

AMerica is awakening but perhaps to late the perfect storm is about to roar.

Get your passports in order we don't take well to illegal immigrants

  • ron paul 2008

  • So that "Health Care" plan isn't really doing anything _for_ you, it's actually taking from you. It's just that it's not quite as easy to see.

Money solves nothing, it is merely a facilitator for trade.

So when he talks about moving money around, know that he's not magically creating economic power. You are paying for it. $50 million? Don't worry, that'll be coming straight out of your pocket through inflation.

  • America pays the most for healthcare (more then people do in Iceland and France through taxes) b/c we have the extra bureaucracy. There is currently millions of different plans. Under Kucinich, there would be one plan: everyone fully covered.

The people have been for universal healthcare for years now. Eventually democracy will take place.

  • It all comes down to _you_, and your individual liberty. Nobody will solve your health care problems for you. Sure, Dennis says he can get you Health Care for pennies on the dollar. But you'll end up paying just as much if not more through the invisible tax (inflation) for it in the end!

  • Rememeber, government's doesn't produce or create anything. All it can do is

    a) Take your money (taxes)

    b) Print money (Federal Reserve, creates inflation)

    c) Hand said moneys out to who they please

So one way or another, the government can only take from one group of people and give to another. Rich people are the same way. They don't actually _do_ anything, they just shuffle money around. They will not solve any problems.

  • I like Kucinich. I recognize that he, at the very least, does not have over-engineered solutions to non-problems. But his solutions are cyclically creating more problems.

He's speaking about pumping more money, thus he doesn't solve the inflation/runaway money printing. How can you solve inflation with more inflation?

  • Remember, Remember, the 15th of December!

    DK 08!

  • I really like Kucinich, he's got some good ideas. I have to take issue with the AMI report. The idea of creating money "monitored to be neither inflationary nor deflationary" is nonsensical. The Federal Reserve System was created because congress cannot coin money that is not backed by gold or silver. Commodity backed money is the only way to control inflation.

  • Inflation is not controlled in that sense either!

Look how much gold and silver value fluctuates, it sometimes doubles, sometimes gets cut in half. Why would we have our dollar value on a commodity we don't have or control...

Kucinich is right, if we stop inflation of money due to our printing, our nations prosperity and economics will be the only judge of its worth. DK's way is the only way to control inflation...

  • No it doesn't. Gold prices fluctuate in relation to the value of the dollar. Have you read art. 1 sec. 10? " make any Thing but gold and silver Coin a Tender in Payment of debts". DK's plan is unconstitutional. I understand he carries a copy of the constitution in his pocket, he needs to read it. The commodity money system made us the most powerful economy on the planet. I think we can all agree that the current system has to change if we're going to avoid an economic disaster.

  • I will say this about DK's plan, at least we wouldn't be paying interest to a private corp. to loan us money they don't have.

  • she is so hot he has to be doing something rite

  • Kucinich '08 !!!

  • "We need to look at" the Federal Reserve?? What kind of wishy washy nonsense is that? As Ron Paul says, we need to eradicate the Fed immediately.

  • Read the information under About This Video at the right. If you can't see a political ally on this issue then I don't know what to say.

  • But for Me, Ron Paul gets my vote, we need a ronald reagan.

  • Right, because Reagan didn't abuse the CIA with trading arms for hostages in Iran, or illegally funding militants in Central America, or selling arms to Iran through Israel, or creating these deregulated trade policies that destroy our manufacturing base. Oh wait, he did. Go figure.

  • I wouldn't compare Ron Paul to Reagan.. Ron Paul is much more honorable... Reagan directed such things as the Iran Contra Scandal. A definitive act of Treason. Reagan was really a puppet president and I don't get why the far right loves him so much. It's really quite rediculous.

  • Insurance itself is risk management where costs are spread out between many people. Private insurance makes a profit on this without providing any actual care-in fact-the more they deny care, the more profit they make. Kucinich's plan puts people's health decisions into doctor's hands, not corporation's hands. Its exactly because our current 'free market' system DOES NOT work that DK wants to have the government as the Insurer. If it could work in the free market, it would be working now.

  • erkd1 is clueless when it comes to economics. He thinks private insurance is out to make a profit by screwing its customers. If insurance is so bad, no one is forcing you to buy it.

  • I actually address this issue in my video:

The Myth Of Free Markets - Corporate Lie Behind It (2/2)

I don't know why you want to insult me. I respect that people have different opinions. There is a problem, we need a solution, so I am pragmatic.

  • You insult yourself with your absurd statements. " Ins companies make money by not paying their claims". If they don't pay claims they lose their customers and go out of business.

  • Well, no they don't, because people need health insurance. Thats the point, they are exploiting people. Thanks for checking out the video.

  • Ok, everyone please take a deep breath. It is too early to be talking like this. I rather draw the attention to the fact of how sad it is that the idea of following the constitution can be the basis of a presidental campaign and even worse how this idea could possibly be considered "fringe". At this point I would be happy with both Paul or Dennis over any other canidate. I don't like the idea of a police state.

  • Dennis is the one with Mental illness in his family.

Is Dennis Kucinich's wife, Elizabeth, trying to sway voters by having her friends from the United Kingdom,Canada and NZ make up Youtube

accounts to spam Youtube? We know the answer

but you have to find it for yourself..

  • all your intellect is capable of is taking cheap shots.

  • holy shit his wife is hot

  • Do you always act so stupid?

  • but also, she's an insanely compassionate person.

  • How much money has the Pentagon lost? >$4 Trillion, how much are we spending on an illegitimate war, how much has Halliburton gotten from taking over the oil wells in Iraq?

I think that Paul and Kucinich and Gravel can work out a plan to take care of our health care issues that corporations and the NeoCons and NeoLibs have sold us out on.

A combination of the Paleoconservatives (Libertarians) and the Paleoliberals (Utilitarians) would be the solution to fixing the problems with this country.

  • Ron Paul is the ONLY candidate who doesn't want to run the country. Just the executive branch of the federal government. None of the others can even see a difference. And they desperately want to run the country.

  • I would have fewer problems with Paul if he weren't such a stubborn ideologue when it comes to the privatization of pretty much everything. Kucinich nails it. Paul fails it.

  • That's why we need a compromise, possibly a dual candidate with a moderator.

  • I dont want to give you my money for your health care, use your own. The Government needs to give us back our money that they have forcefully taken under the penalty of a crime, our hard earned dollars to do as they please. Restore the Constitution and let us be Free Again. Ron Paul 2008!

  • Brother, if you had your money back you still couldn't afford healthcare at these prices...premiums, co-pays and deductibles would take it all back from you.

  • I'll opt out! Ill pay cash, anywhere from 20% to 50% cheaper for dental/doctor visits. If we get our dollar back to a gold standard, end our oppression against the world by bringing the troops home, stop Nafta/Cafta/NAU we can increase jobs, stop the inflation tax imposed by the Federal Reserve and end the 4o years of federal health care that doesnt work, we would be much better off. Do you think the Gov can all of a sudden make health care work?

  • thats not a good plan for healthcare, it will make people with health care drop out and get the free healthcare and it will cost more at that point, which means what?? raised taxes. Ron Paul is still my choice

  • Mandy, we could shift a lot of the wasteful money (and there is so much waste in politics.. just look at how much Bush keeps asking for - for his illegitimate war.) Pentagon "loses" over $4 Trillion so far, we're paying how much for mercenary armies, Halliburton, etc. Ron Paul would eliminate the Federal Reserve, putting us on the gold standard.. there would be a major tax decrease (no income tax).

  • This would actually allow for a socialized health care system, and restore our Constitution.. a compromise CAN be made, and it looks like it MUST be made.

    Paul/Kucinich/Gravel 2008

    Unity 08'

  • how can you support socialized health care and finish with "Paul/Kucinich/Gravel 2008"? Paul=NoSocializedHealthCare. They don't need eachother to succeed. Uniting would likely only hurt them. I'd much rather see Kucinich vs Paul in '08

  • Read the information in the About This Video tab to the right, Ron Paul has a natural ally in Kucinich on this issue.

  • i thought the libertarians opposed the gold standard because of who controls the limited gold supplies

  • It's clearly stated in the Constitution that the gold supplies are to be controlled by the government and they could issue notes (dollars) that clearly state that they are backed by such gold/silver deposits in the Treasury. Start with Article 1 Section 10 of the Constitution then also look to Article 8

  • Pardon the correction, but this is wrong.

"Section 8 - Powers of Congress

    .

    .

To coin Money, regulate the Value thereof, and of foreign Coin, and fix the Standard of Weights and Measures;"

Gold is not regulated in any fashion.

What is controllable is the value of the 'legal tender'.

    That's all

  • Anyone who posts a Ron Paul tag for their video about someone else is a deceptive a__ . Post it under Kucinich and If I want to see the thing I will look it up but when I go to Ron Paul videos and this comes up, it tells me something about the kind of people who would support him. Get some integrity.

  • Read the information in the tab About This Video. The Federal Reserve is a big issue for Ron Paul supporters and he is speaking at the AMI, where his wife works. They have very similar views on the matter.

  • Kucinch is a socialist and obviously erkd1 is too. You want the gov't to steal money from those who produce and give it to you to spend as you would like. You are an immoral thief.

  • Ron Paul often cites Kucinich as a good friend on the other side of the aisle and the only one he could support.

Socialism is bad but Kucinich is a true believer. He means well. The establishment socialists..ahem..do not mean so well.

  • They are friends and they do agree on how bad the stupid war is. The similarity ends there. Kucinich is a nice guy but a big gov't socialist and Dr. Paul is a free market libertarian. Big difference!

  • similarities don't exactly end there. they both want to pull out of NAFTA and similar trade agreements. They both support tax breaks and such for solar/wind technologies. They both believe in the government's control of its currency. etc (trust me, there's more)

  • I'll still agree that they are on contrasting political ideologies and would only consider Ron Paul as a possibility if Kucinich isn't the Dem candidate.

  • Well said, philosophies do not oppose cooperation between politicians. Lincoln installed his political rivals in his cabinet to assure the people that all people had a voice. Its a matter of our nation being hijacked by corporate extremists, in both parties, that is the common issue that concerns us all.

  • it's not stealing money if the money goes back to you.

  • Is that what you say to a thief? As long as you but me something with my own money it's okay to steal it? You are really mixed up.

  • haha. i guess i just disagree respectfully. i understand your point; however, myself and many other americans wouldn't mind their tax money going into a system that would provide healthcare to everyone. this includes cancer treatments, medication, in and out patient stay, etc. etc. this system would eliminate deductibles, co-pays..it's awesome. to me, it's not stealing. it's humanity. :)

  • Okay then. Just answer one question. Why would you as a moral, freedom loving person, want the gov't to force someone to pay for your health care? That's how it works you know.

  • Thanks for the video but again, Paul explains that he and Dennis do not agree on economics. DK is for big gov't programs and more taxes and Paul is for smaller gov't and very low taxes. (no income tax ..period)

  • paul wants to privatize everything. he's doesn't care about poor people. his solution to every problem is to give tax breaks, but tax breaks don't cut it especially if you're poor. it will keep marginalizing them, not allowing any room for social mobility.

  • Since your such a wonderful do-gooder, why don't you give all your money to the poor people. Just think how wonderful you would be then!!!

  • Ron Paul wants to privatize everything while you want to governmentize everything. Didn't work so well for the USSR.

  • USSR doesn't apply. CommunistDemocracy=Utopia. CapitalistDemocracy=Utopia. Modern socialists understand the balance of both economic security and economic freedom for individuals and society.

  • Ron Paul would be so much better for poor people, all people, you have no idea.

  • Kucinich would be so much better for poor people, all people, you have no idea.

You notice the switch there? boring...

  • Paul wants to privatize everything and you want to governmentize everything. Didn't work out so well for the USSR.

  • Listen, don't be so condescending. The government would not be in control of the healthcare system; they would merely fund it. That's it. That's a huge difference. I don't view it as stealing if it's going towards a system that I and my family will use all the time. Ask any Canadian or European about universal healthcare, I guarantee they would never trade their current system for ours.

  • How do you think they get the funds to fund it? They FORCE people who produce to give them their money. And you would like to take some of that stolen money wouldn't you. What does that make you? ellenloveseverything especially other peoples money.

  • what's the different because the government using the money to pay for the courts, the military, or the economic stability of an extremely large segment of the population that works yet can't survive? they all contribute to the security and well-being of everyone, including you. the poorer they get, the harder it is for you to be successful unless you're already rich.

  • tesla, If you want to go that route, fascism didn't work out so well too. How about stick to logical debate and leave the absurdities out of it.

  • You're right. Facism doesn't work either. It just another form of socialism. So what is illogical or absurd about what I've said?

  • Socialism and Fascism are diametric opposites, if I have to explain that to you then you are absurd.

  • You can't explain it because you don't understand it.

  • Says the man with no argument...

you have to have premises to back up a conclusion bud... :)

  • all political institutions harvest facists. the end product, however, is contrary to (and opposes) socialist idiology. so hopefully you're using facism as a slur and don't actually believe this talking point to be reality. Wiki "facism"

  • Dennis is a great speaker when they let him talk..Too bad these debates are still dominated by what the media decides should be speaking and should not....i don't agree with all his points but i would love to see him face off ron paul

  • I would love to see a general election between Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich. They have different ideological differences obviously, but they are two honorable and principled men. Then let the nation decide which is best in the election.

All other candidates (besides maybe Gravel) are corporate shills and sell outs to the people.

  • Your so right erkd1 i cant believe they wouldn't let Mike GRAVEL to stay out of the NEvada Debate..but it was cool he examined the debate afterwards

  • Why would you as a moral, freedom loving individual want the government to force someone else to pay for your health care?

  • Is it just me or is Kucinich's wife sitting on the background a hottie?

  • If Ron Paul doesn't run , and Kucinich wins the democratic nomination ...Ill switch to the democratic party and vote for him . I'll rather have a democrat like Kucinich in office than another warmongering republican wacko .

  • My thoughts exactly,.. or Mike Gravel for that matter even though I don't think The Media and the Black Hand gave him a chance. As you know,... We The People do not decide who wins these elections.

Search "Hacking Democracy" on Youtube. This is an important documentary that all Americans should watch.

  • The only democrat running I would vote for...

  • Ron Paul is the ONLY candidate who doesn't want to run the country. Just the executive branch of the federal government. None of the others can even see a difference. And they desperately want to run the country.

  • it is crazy to expect the government to control the money supply. Even great minds like Greenspan had plenty of trouble.

  • Greenspan was the chairman of the Federal Reserve! Thats like the fox telling the farmer that those fences around the hen house are really too complex to manage, best to leave them in his care.

  • if greenspan is the fox then what demon would the govornment be?

  • The government is the people. Thats the point.

  • obviously the government is not afraid of THIS people it is doing whatever IT wants while maintaining appearances

  • "When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty."

    ~Thomas Jefferson

Its time to rattle our cages ;)

  • The gov't is not the people. It's the entity that has a monopoly on force and steals money from the people.

  • It is the people, they just are too dumbed down by the Media, television, ads, THE INTERNET...

If people just started to think for themselves and not let their consent be manufactured for them, we would have more of a true democracy today...

    DK 08!

  • Kucinich is a true democrat. Too bad he's being treated like a nutcase by the rest of his traitorous party
