this is such a great tutorial video. what a better gift to give for the holiday season than a little bit of knowledge and music. thanks and happy whatever!
you are an awesome player...i have watched and studied many of your vids...if i may offer, or rather request one thing is that you play the tune once through before you tutorial...not only would we get to listen to your fantastic playing but it would be something to refer to when trying to copy your playing.... thanx for posting...have a great holiday season
This is some good stuff! I keep on meaning to put some chord melody on youtube and then I see awesome arrangements like these and say nevermind, better keep practicin for now
Yo, Doc--I LOVE your work! you don't have to change a thing. I do have a suggestion, tho, to make your teaching easier for you and for us to absorb: how about a bar fret graph translucent overlap in the lower right hand corner? Maybe your son can figure that out? he's a nice drummer-I bet he's a computer whiz, too.
sure appreciate your kind feedback and taking your time to watch and post. Great suggestion and you are right - it will be up to the boy to figure that one out!!
Thanks Dale, I couldn' t have played this without you breaking it down. Ever notice how Christmas songs are the hardest to learn, they're like technical classical or jazz progression usually.
i agree - most are not 'typical' 1-4-5 kind of progressions. I LOVE Christmas music and drive my family crazy with it all year. Hope you are doing great,
