I was listening to some other Ruse/Lose rain arranges; they sounded nice, but for some reason, there was a small creeping feeling of disappointment.

Then I realized what was missing, and opened this up after a few months of non-listening.

Anyways, though I feel that 1:09 through 1:28 or so, in my opinion, detracted a lot from the arrange, I very much like the rest of it. The glass/ice shattering sounds were, for some reason particularly...eargasmic, for lack of a better word.

I've already commented here, but it's been a while since I heard an extra stage arrangement that seemed this darkly badass (Shimadoriru art fits this genre nicely). Maybe someone could direct me to others that would cut it (besides those of Alice in Wonderland and Extend Ash, I've had my eye out for those for quite a while and right now I've bled the internet dry). I can imagine Cirno suddenly going homicidal on her fellow fairy in the moonlight as Marisa awaits her arrival @ 0:34 !

Everytime I sample the stuff you upload for us, Chaos, I gradually see my mental picture of Gensokyo become more rocktastic.

First I began seeing the Hakurei Shrine Festivals having massive rock concerts involving all the Girls, band by band, and now I see Fairy Wars being played out as a guitar duelling contest with the danmaku barrages being used as percussion and to distract the competition.

Cirno could totally win a guitar duel with the other fairies, since she is the STRONGEST.

I actually really loved the original "Lose Rain" (or "Ruse Rain", whatever), with its hurried, climactic tone. . .but it didn't seem many others liked it, and even ZUN himself seemed disappointed by this song in his description. So, I didn't expect this to get any good remixes. . .

ZUN kinda reminds me of Motoi Sakuraba: any soundtracks they both make sound very similar, but can still be appreciated in their own way.

BTW, this is, so far, the best arrange of Ruse Rain I've heard.
