Code Geass is the GREATEST anime ever, GUNDAM series are pretty good and rerun kenshin is also very good. Not many people heard of this but it is also very good but it is rushed at the end: Legend of legendary heroes (Densetsu no Yuusha no Densetsu) doesn't sound good but it is actually VERY good.

If you wanna see an anime that keeps you watching just look at Trigun on youtube (warning: there are lots of adds) I watched it on netflix when they had it. It is really good and only 24 episodes.

FMA starts slow. But then after the seventh or eight it kicks into high gear.
And while there is a lot of action in it FMA is more a plot based anime.Besides what is slow? Example.Death Note in itself has not much action. But the cat and mouse game was incredible unique and immensely thrilling. It was not particularly fast. But because of the intensity of the experience it was high octane fast.Same with FMA.

Code Geass is the GREATEST anime ever, GUNDAM series are pretty good and rerun kenshin is also very good. Not many people heard of this but it is also very good but it is rushed at the end: Legend of legendary heroes (Densetsu no Yuusha no Densetsu) doesn't sound good but it is actually VERY good.

@Berwynjunior I agree I can't even finish the series even though it's on youtube and I keep trying and even though it's not a long series it seems like it takes a long time to unfold. If you wanna see an anime that keeps you watching just look at Trigun on youtube (warning: there are lots of adds) I watched it on netflix when they had it. It is really good and only 24 episodes.

FMA starts slow. But then after the seventh or eight it kicks into high gear.
And while there is a lot of action in it FMA is more a plot based anime.Besides what is slow? Example.Death Note in itself has not much action. But the cat and mouse game was incredible unique and immensely thrilling. It was not particularly fast. But because of the intensity of the experience it was high octane fast.Same with FMA.
