If you know anything about JH, you would know that she could hold the note like BJ, but the biggest issuse ppl have always had with JH is that she sings other ppl's songs her own way.BJ is a soprano, and JH is an alto her notes are just as big and loud she just sings her way. JH is a belter, BJ is not. Bottom line they are both BAD ASS DIVAS, who are underrated, comparied to the crap we hear today

I saw her perform this in the Broadway Cast production you see here when they toured and came to London. She tore up that sucka and got a standing ovation that night too!

This is one of my all-time most moving memories in life! Brings a tear to a glass eye!

No. It ruins the song by taking the illusion of reality out of it, and turns it into a vocal showcase. Actors don't need audience encouragement when they're onstage in the form of anything other than applause or cheering. Anything else is uncivilised and disrespectful to the theatre.
