Nope, the PS3 hasn't got any of it's own exclusives. Apart from Banjo Kazooie, the Xbox360 allows you to race with your avatar, which I think is a nice touch...

I'm not talking about he Cameron movie. At Xbox Live you have to make your Avatar. It's a whole little person that you can make. Like a 'mii' on the Wii. On PS3 you can only choose a picture as your avatar.

On the Xbox version you can race with your avatar-character in a car against the Sega-Characters.

James Cameron, creator of the Movie Avatar. I though you meant that, but obviously you didn't :).

PS3 has avatars, yes. But it's only a picture. On Xbox live you make a whole little person (so face, body arms legs, etc.) which is an extra character in the game. The PSN avatar is never used in games and only for PSN. And it's just a picture, so personally I wouldn't care for it.

It's not, the PS3 version is better since it's the best graphiced version and you can use the PS3's sixaxis control so you can use your controller as a wheel.

Ive been playing this and it's CLEARLY a rip-off of mario kart, but that's not a bad thing, why didnt sega do this sooner? I dont think its quite as good as mk though, but it could be a strong contender in the coming years, when we see more of them.

Sega did do it sooner. Sonic Drift in 1994, Sonic Riders, Sonic R. And gameplaywise, the driting is like it was in Outrun. So the idea of such a kartgame is for Nintendo. But putting all kind of famous characters in it (so not just from one game), as well as the drifting gameplay was firstly done by Sega.

because they are 3 feet tall, and the mechanics for the game would be weird. Sonic R sucked because they WEREN'T in cars in my opinion , they moved too weird if felt like they were running on ice the whole game. and people dont run like that.

This game looks more like Crash Team Racing then Mario Kart. It feels and plays nearly the same. If this game just stuck with the Sonic characters I think it would've been cooler. I'm not digging the totally randomness of this game. The random powerups and "all star"-whatever power.
