They need a 40-60 mm lift kit decent tyres and bullbar.unless you go extreme off road it will go pretty much anywhere.

i have the 01 sportage i live were the snow is deep raced a hummer and killd it it hovers over the snow the engine is unkillabubble but cv joints are shit pretty mutch all the weel things break often mite be the salt on the roads

i drive a regular sportage... not the grand sportage like this one.. but i can go anywhere... I have passenger tires on this thing, and the dash lit like a tree. I've put 10000 miles on it like that. It never dies. And i've NEVER been stuck.
