33 here, and easily one of the best songs. i think the rhythm transcends age, in a way. i have no idea what is being said nor the point of it. but, it seems relevant.

dude, I'm 44 and I think this is easily one of the best songs of the year. Don't try Mew or the new Flaming Lips, you'll be lost.

@hailtothevictorz yes, its so true. Flaming lips are amazing, and so is Mew, and they are more in line to receive song of the year because of the position they are in. Cymbals is a smaller band so they prob wouldn't get it, I think?

I would disagree they sound like bright eyes. maybe a little bit if your thinking of Cassadagga but I dont like comparing bands because each is unique to its own but If I had to, Id say they remind me of a more poppy version of old modest mouse. Just the instruments, no one can compare to Isaac Brocks voice. Eat a cookie uhh
