This isn't at all racist. He made the statement because although the world might not know it, everyone at the NRA convention knows how Barrack Obama really feels about guns. And yes, if you are a politically correct liberal as they come democrat then this could be said to be in bad taste. Be sure and vote Obama 08 so he can fix all problems by raising taxes, taking away guns, and killing worthless children while they are being born.

There is nothing racist or redneck about this joke. The comment doesn't mention anything about race. It was an attempt to be funny that was in bad taste - not because it was racist or redneck, but because it inferred there are people trying to kill Obama - though the joke was actually a reference to Obama saying poor whites cling to religion and guns. The joke was more about Obama's views being anti-gun and him assuming every person with a gun wants to kill him or others even when they aren't

His comments are dispicable and vulgar. To have this said at a NRA rally makes it a National Security issue because it is a terroristic threat. Huckabee should pray that he is not arrested next week.
