There are some parts of the genderbending project that don't make sense, but some of the scenarios they've come up with are really clever.

You're obviously not aware of the fandubbing and novel-rewriting projects out on the net. I suppose you need to look around more. I'm personally enjoying the pitch-changing for what it is. Gives an appropriate voice for most of the subjects without getting entirely new voices.
