Sorry to critisise, but this movie isn't as great as everyone says. I don't know, but it just didn't take me in very well. I've seen more amazing stuff done in video games with motion capture technology. Still, at least it's watchable, unlike some other unmentionable abominations I've watched in my lifetime...

AVATAR has pushed CGI to the next level. I want to tell something, no matter how hard they do there is something lacking because its not real. I have researched on CGI for all most 3 yrs what i found was u cant cheat real world. CGI is still in its infancy even now after avatar. There still lots to be done to make it look real. Maybe in next 100 yrs it may become possible.

Lets be honest the script is pretty much that of an old western where a man saves the natives from other white ppl. All they did was give it a futuristic twist with aliens. Now ppl wanna kill themselves to live like the Na Vi, You can live like them move to the Amazon or Africa.

Its a great movie....I wouldn't say It exceeds all the buzz and hype but it did push the boundaries in three dimensional facial animation. Some of the best facial feature capturing I have seen in any simulated feature.

It's incredible, I mean the amount of imagination that went into it... wow, you really can't describe it it's just to amazing, it's something that you will remember for the rest of your life!
