Half of the vids on youtube about drawing mtg / alterations are shit and completely unsymmetrical and ugly, and yet the 'artist' fails to recognize it and cannot receive criticism. You on the other hand, is a pure artist. Thumbs up. Im an artist too and i get mad looking at all the 99% junk drawings on youtube.

Is the paint you use expensive at all? I'm thinking about getting into altering art.

@LunchboxDrummer no, it's common acrylic color. sometimes I use "Maimeri" colors, that are more expensive than others, but just because i can steal them to my brother XD you just have to be able to make a very thin coat of color so that the cards aren't more heavy than the normal ones and you can't feel to much the color touching the card :)

@maxrambaldi Do you paint in drying layers? i seem to be having problems getting thin coats on so instead i just do it the heavy paint way, the card doesnt get too heavy either and it doesnt crack. However I do a lot of dry brushing instead.

@krazykidpsx i usually use (enough) liquid colors for the drawing a the biggest parts, and then color without water fpr the tiny details
