  • Not bad for a "first egotripping homemade video" ;-)

    Beautifully played!

  • Beautifully played. I love the sound of that piano. Well done (in spite of your "bent" finger!). Please post more soon.

  • Nice ! I like it.I have a Nord Stage EX, too.

I will also try playing this song, as a nord player and a Jaco lover in Japan.

  • Only thing that would make this better is if you knew what "the secret" was and could get in on Jaco+Toots little emotional feeling/joke thing. You'll notice Jaco plays each of the 3 views of the secret with a different strong emotion.

  • Hi..this is one of those tunes that makes me think of playing compositions by someone other than myself..lol...not likely, though always a possibility.

  • This is a seldom seen side of Jaco. It's full of heavy duty soul.I love this song and this rendition. He was the greatest!

  • Nice! 'Nord piano' sounds very good!

I'd love to hear your version of 'Liberty City' at the piano ...

  • You wouldn't have an over head shot of you playing this fabulous tune would you. It is beautifully played and I would love to learn it by ear .................. Superb

  • Of all versions of this song on YouTube, none compares to yours. In my humble opinion, and with all due respect to the commentator, a ridiculous comment about your little finger not being bent - as well as the ending. They're fine.. I also love the pause you make at 1:50... I would love to hear you play it with all the chords in Jaco's original arrangement on an acoustic Piano (except for the piano forte part). I think it would be "Grand"... Thank you.

  • very well done! I enjoyed it, now will enjoy it again!

  • EXCELLENT. This is my favorite song; love your arrangement!

  • very nice chords.are you reading them or playing by ear?it's almost as good as the original .

  • loved it :D

I actually wish I could play the piano. Tried to play online piano for a while but that isn't quite the real deal...

  • Great.

Good idea for the end. Better that a "fade".

I play also this wonderfull piece on piano but with slighly different voicings... and a kind of "fade with "ritardamento" at the end. I'll play "your" end.

  • My favourite Jaco piece as well. Nicely played, and the Nord sounds really good!

  • I love this tune... and I am surprised you've perfectly done with piano only! Good ending!

  • Cool!
