  • Is this with the standard CPU clock rate or did you clock it up from 336Mhz?

  • @Mana949 Technically, it's not illegal as long as you own a copy of the game. US law allows one backup for every game legally in your possession, whether there are anti-piracy laws in effect on the game or not.

  • it works wayyy faster with scph7502 bios

  • is it on linux ?

  • I cant see a shit

  • looks laaaagggggyyyy as heck.

  • So would PS games with mostly 2D graphics (like SotN, Puzzle Fighter) run better, or no?

  • running FFVII my ass. I'd rather watch grass grow.

  • @ooMarlborOoo true. I was thinking about to get this but not after this vid.

  • @ooMarlborOoo

    indeed

  • is it possible to emulate ps1 games with this emulator?

  • psx is ps1 smarty

  • That's because it's the first release of the emulator. Development is being done to make games faster.

  • Cool in a novelty proof of concept type of thing but its way to slow to be at all playable and I doubt any amount of optimization will ever make it possible to play PSX games on a dingoo at a tolerable frame rate. Still cool though.

  • A PSX emu had been released and it plays FF7 at ~20fps. Look at dingoo-scene.

  • The dingoo has no 3d hardware. Emulating the psx in software only with a 400mhz device won't happen with usable speed.

  • It has been done just now, look in Dingoo-Scene.

  • no 3d hardware? it comes with 3d games installed out of the box wingnut.

  • you dont need 3d hardware to write 3d games

  • yeah mate, you do, clues in the name, you're thinking of isometrics, not 3d.

  • Quake 1 was real 3D and didn't need 3D hardware.

  • yes you did, listen to what your saying, even the earliest 3d games like virtua racing on the mega drive needed a dedicated 3d chip, super fx on the snes, granted quake didn't need a dedicated 3dfx card, but acceleration was needed.

  • read up on software rendering please

  • Virtua racing on Genesis and Firefox on Snes needed those chips because their processors were only a few megahertz so they needed a bump. I played quake 1 on my 486 with NO 3d hardware I promise you. Many early 3d games had an option to use hardware or software rendering.

  • As long as it will run Castlevania SOTN that's all I need :)

  • check my latest video on that..did a test run

  • Was that bigfoot? 0_o ?

  • LOL

  • AWESOME :P

  • is this project dead?

  • wow, this is exciting stuff. once there is enough development for the dingoo, it will be an even amazinger device :)

  • amazinger is not a word

  • take a joke buddy

  • ignore all the faggots calling it shit etc

its good work keep it up bro but at this speed youll finish the game this time next year

  • it's not fake just The Dingoo isn't ready to emulate Playstation yet

  • fake

  • Comment removed

  • impressiv!! keep up this good work!!!!

  • looks to have potential, gotta get more than .05 fps though, is this dingux or native os?

  • okok thanks for the explanation

  • its not a fake man, i ll record with another camera next video. sry!

  • @robinkaku

Its not fake smart one. Real console, illegal though...

  • this would be really great. it seems a little bit slow.

  • Wow, pretty impressing!

  • Nice! You need to find a better way to film though. How many frames per second do you think you get on that? How does it handle 2d games? Where can I get updates?
