  • That saw is pretty cool to watch! Even cooler that a lady is running it.

  • @JonathanGuenther Thanks for watching, The lady running it is myself and I restore these beautiful saws to running condition... Thanks again..

  • It's a 1950's saw guys see if your plastic crap is still running 60 years from now

  • But, why the handle for the second operator? Or is that big chunk of cast iron just ballast?

  • @woodscritter . That is just how it was back in the day. some had the stinger/helper handle some didn't.. not many you can find now that have these helper handles.. They weren't meant for speed either. they have quite a bit of torque to them.

  • I hope you dont get paid by the hour...LOL

  • @NathansBackwoods Sure these are not the fastest things around. but I will tell you this.. it will indeed out last your new saw today.. as this one is from the early 50's and still runs great. starts the second pull every time..

  • I could do about a 15.5 second run in a 20 inch fir log

  • with husqvarna is this in 20sec. cut

  • well my V8 cuts this in just over 1 sec. Try to be that...

  • it is very slow, I sleep when i cut with it.

  • verry god

  • Still a great saw. Nothing today sounds anything like the old saws, this one especially. Even this one sounds different compared to the old saws alone.

  • thanks these weren't speed cutters like todays. This one is only 3 1/2hp. Always got to fiddle with it when running it. Thanks.

  • oh and the carb still needs work. as it isn't getting full speed on the top end.

  • Nice old saw, but why is it cutting so slow?
