icelandic horses are not ponies first of all, and they have incredible depth...they don't have 5 gaits for nothing! They are very difficult to ride well, though because of their excellent behavior people underestimate them as kids horses...they are very much not ponies, but incredible, talented, unique horses. :)
Icelandic Horses can be 125 cm -155cm tall . they are horses . look at sportsisis, because they are beautiful

Perfect for adults too... you know they could carry a 100 kg person through very rough terrain using tölt. :)

Yes, adults ride them too. I've ridden icelandic hroses for days through the Icelandic terrain, and god it's nice when they tølt...
Don't underestimate the icelandic horses : ) they're good for so much more than just kids' riding.
