  • Yogi cares for the duck like we should care for the least of these our brethren. Yogi has the kind of loving heart all of us should have, 2:54,Dog showed deception, Satan shows that.6,05 Yogi has the love of God in him for the duck even as God who is Jesus has love for all us. All should love each each other even as Yogi loved that duck, and when we do war, jails, armies, and the laws of man that hold men in bondage will be no more. Yogi risked his life pleading with the hunter.Yogi is a furry.

  • YOU BRITS ARE ALL ALIKE!

  • Quack Quack! I mean OOOOOOOUUUUCH!

  • Yope! Yope! Yope!

  • is awesome how that duck goes places, yogi bear, tom and jerry, and a swear hes one of Donald Ducks nephews!

  • @MrDanman84 OH NO Donald's nephews don't hold a candle to adorable Yakky with that baby cute voice!!! Tweety's "Taw a putty tat" doesn't compare either! Whoever did that voice really needed a legacy. It's too bad we don't have more adorable characters like that today. I forgot all the places he went. I only remembered Tom & Jerry till a friend reminded me.

  • Donald Duck!?

  • The British hunter guy is a jerk.

  • @TheNatkidd YEAH!!!THAT GUY SO MEAN,IF I CAN CATCH HIM,I MUST BE JIDGING HIM TO DEAD!!!

  • too cute!!

  • That duck has the same voice in Tom and Jerry.

  • @R68love11 - At this point and time, both Yogi Bear and Tom & Jerry were produced by Hanna-Barbara. They shared voice talent across shows all the time.

  • Yope Yope Yope Yope Yope Yope Yope Yope Yope Yope YOPE YOPE Yope Yope? YOPE!

  • Yope yope yope.

  • I like this Yogi voice a lot better than some of the other ones I've heard.

  • what is with that awful dog noise? it sounds nothing like a dog.

  • classic pepper gag....

  • Love these early Yogi Bear cartoons!

  • THAT DUCK IS SO CUTE

  • notice every time a duck shows up in these type of cartoons the duck sounds the same lol

  • the man's plaid is flawless

  • thats so violent lol

  • lol quack quack quack

  • wait i don't get something, yogi lives in jellystone national park and in jellystone park there is no hunting aloud, right? so why is this guy hunting?!?

  • @LilTizzi Its a cartoon how should we know (dont worrie im not being mean or anything)

  • @LilTizzi This is one of Yogi's early cartoons. It doesn't have a Jellystone Park setting, and Boo Boo isn't in this episode either. Other Yogi cartoons that don't take place in Jellystone are Pie-Pirates, Tally Ho Ho, Baffled Bear, and The Runaway Bear.

  • What's the name of that dog who says "Yelp, yelp, yelp?" I've seen him in a couple other episodes

  • His name is Yowp.

  • Ah, thank you!

  • There's a website somewhere, Wiley, which has one-pose models of all the earliest H-B characters. One was the duck, called Iddy Biddy (Buddy) as the name Yakky hadn't been invented yet. Yowp is amongst them, along with a couple of other obscure characters (Cousin Tex was one) that H-B maybe was thinking of marketing,

  • Ah, I just referred to Iddy Biddy as "the blue Little Quacker," since Red Coffey, whom voiced that duck on Tom & Jerry, voiced the duck in this short as well.

  • @jgbennie

And of course, wasn't he one whiney duckling:)?

  • Jimmy Weldon's name was among those listed as vocal talent during the closing credits of Yogi's series in 1961, Steve- I believe he used "Red Coffee" as an alias while using the vloice at MGM....I admire your identifying the various cues and composers from the Capitol "Hi-Q" production music library.

  • No, Coffey (note spelling) is a different guy. His duck and Weldon's don't quite sound the same. This one is Coffey.

  • Fianlly

Unknown (the tune used in this and the final scene, both with a duck decoy on the head, a girl duck, though the little boy duckling's pretty "adrogynous" voice wise..)

  • In the opening, that's

    "Yogi theme" by Curtin

A track identitifed either as Fast Moment 4ZR48 as in here (George Hormel) or otherwise in a different arrangement Water Skis (Seely-Loose) (during the "dog chases duckling scene)

Zany Comedy 5TC303 (Seely) (The "Yogi diguise scene)

Fun on Ice (Jack Shaindlin) (the dog catches the duckling from Yogi)

  • More music ID for this episode

(Unknown) (after the dog reveals himself and grabs the duck)

Fish Story F1 (jack Shaindlin)(when the dog eats the duck then spits it out)

Recess 27F3 (during the scenes as playing now, when I wrote this, Yogi hiding behind the tree and then the duck camofaluged in the decoy lineup)

  • Holly Day TC432 (John Seely)(During the "Dog get duckling and Yogi pleasds for the release of duckling")

Toboggan Run (Jack Shaindlin) (Wwhen Yogi runs to the lake)

Unknown decoy theme (in second duck decoy on head scene;possibly Spencer Moore or Jack Shaindlin)

  • these are classics..i wonder where u can get them on dvd or vhs?...

  • you can get them on dvd

  • I seen this duck on Snaglepuss and one time at least on Auggie Doggie.

  • Great stuff!

  • "Yowp Yowp"

  • "yelp yelp!"

  • Yes, this is the same "yellow duck" that was featured in H-B's "Tom & Jerry" theatrical cartoons, with the same voice {Jimmy Weldon}. Here, the duck [known as "Iddy Biddy Buddy" in Huckleberry Hound's original TV bumpers] appeared with Yogi- and at least once in every H-B TV show at the time- until he became a "supporting player" on Yogi's show in 1961...as "Yakky Doodle".

  • Sorry, Barry (Fromthesidelines), but it was Red Coffee, not Jimmy Weldon as the voice. Daws Butler did Yogi and the others.

  • Music ID:

Yogi Theme (Hoyt Curtin-Peggy & Charles Shows-Hanna-Barbera; sung by the Randy Van Horne Singers (>?))(open)

Fast Movement 4ZR48 (George Hormel)(opening scenes with the duckling going to Yogi-this has also been known as Water Skis by John Seely & Bill Loose)

Zany Comedy 3TC303 (John Seely and William Loose) (when the dog gets the duck)

Fun on Ice (Jack Shaindlin)(when Yogi poses as the old hunter to the "decoy" scene).

  • thanks for posting! it so lame that when i searched for yogi bear it was mostly videos of killing yogi.. so weird.

  • Thanks for posting I LOVE Yogi Bear. It would be deeply appreciated if you could post more!
