I finally got my bench up to 315 the other day and I weigh 165 lbs.. fuck man, this is impressive. You're built like a brick shit house at that height and weight haha
Great powerlifting form! Don't listen to these guys that criticize. Your doing great. The only problem was it looked like you bounce just a little. Not enough to where it makes a lot of difference on your drive. Great set!
you dont weight 148 not even havin low body fat would make you look dat big and you tall just with dat height you would weiht more ... your aroun 162 up
@ianhudon yea im sure you can man..i bet your bodybuilding and fitness career is way ahead of mine too...judging by your pic you have a long way to go bro..keep working hard...and it does makes sense for a heavyweight to do more than a lightweight..pound for pound is whats important when talking about strength..nice try tho..when you're doing over double your bodyweight come talk to me
@ianhudon Bro all you have to do is google me and you will see that i compete as a lightweight..simple as that, so im not even gonna argue...This is the proper powerlifting form for the bench press...back arched and elbows tucked..I would never bench bodybuilding style with back flat and elbows flared because it places way too much strain on the shoulders..It puts your shoulder in a vulnerable position and unnatural position..It also leaves a better chance for a pec tear
The people you hear complain about shoulder problems and how the bench press is a dangerous lift, are the ones who aren't doing it properly. Its a strength and power movement use it for what its for. Makes no sense trying to turn a compound movement into an isolation exercise. Once your elbows start droping below the bench at a 90 degrees angle you are asking for rotator cuff problems. Do some research before you critisize. My chest is one of my best bodyparts. The results speak for themself.
