I never really gave her much thought before I watched The Tudors (even if the show was quite inaccurate historically) as I was usually more interested in Anne Boleyn, but now I find myself on the verge of tears to think of that poor girl and the fate that was given to her. Even if she did cheat on the king, it was still no valid reason to have her executed (or murdered in my belief.) She was so young and really had no one on her side to instruct or protect her. Very, very tragic....
That was absolutely stunning. I felt heartbroken in the beginning, hearing her ladies-in-waiting crying in the background. Imagine being a teenager (or in your early twenties) and watching your friend about to suffer a horrible death...
WOW It was just breathtaking! I liked that depiction of Catherine by Tamzin Merchant - you don't feel catered to her the whole show, but in the end you feel sorry for her, although the show says she was was guilty in the crime that she had been accused of......Thank you!

I'm overwhelmed! This is so atmospheric and aesthetical! A very true interpretation of Kathryn Howard, created with such delicacy... She really was a very inconsiderate, cheerful, sensual and careless girl that just wasn't meant to be queen, but was forced into this position by her ambitious uncle and a besotted, ageing king.
i thought this was simply moving :) it shows katherine to be as she was rarely seen - vulnerable, a child in love with her life, and so on. this video has really made me respect her more :)
